Vine Design

This week I’m using the Vine Design Bundle (156266, $55.75) from the January to June mini catalog and today I’m introducing the fifth incolor, Soft Succulent.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Vine Design - Layering Circles Framelits Dies

I started with a Very Vanilla layer and then used a couple of flower stamps from the Vine Design set up one of the sides. Colors used were Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya and then some Soft Succulent leaf sprigs.

Next the very vanilla layer was matted in Soft Succulent and then the same color was used for the sentiment, also from Vine Design. The Layering Circles Framelits Dies were used to cut out the sentiment and also a scalloped circle in Soft Succulent. The two circles were glued together and then added to the card using dimensionals. The final touch was the addition of the brand new – and gorgeous – 2021-2023 incolor jewels. I predict that these will quickly go on back order!

Vine Design Bundle

This week I’m using the Vine Design bundle (156266, $55.75) from the January to June mini catalog and I chose to share 4 of the 5 incolors with you as well. They are gorgeous!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Vine Design Bundle

Here the vine is stamped in Evening Evergreen on Very Vanilla. It’s a very deep luscious color. Then I stamped out the little flowers, stamped in Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya and die cut them using the Flowering Vine dies.

These dies are amazing – there are three identical dies to cut out these flowers which made it very easy. I popped them up with mini dimensionals. Next the very vanilla layer was matted in Evening Evergreen. The sentiment from the Vine Design set was stamped in Evening Evergreen and then the matted layer was added to the Very Vanilla card base. The finishing touch was the addition of the pearls basic jewels in the middle of the flowers.

Happiest of Birthdays

This week I’m focusing on the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. It’s a 4 piece cling stamp set (152539, $19) which can make really fast cards for when you’re in a rush! Except when one of the stamps disappears and you have to spend time cleaning up to try to find it! I still haven’t found it, but my craft room is a lot tidier! I’m beginning to suspect it stuck to my shirt which means it could be anywhere in the house…

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - Forever Greenery DSP

The background for this card is a piece of the Forever Greenery DSP which I’m trying to use up this month. It is on a Soft Sea Foam cardbase.  The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock and then die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. Sadly I was really late to the party regarding how well Pretty Peacock coordinates with Soft Sea Foam. After popping up the sentiment with dimensionals, a few Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Come and join me on Facebook today at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I will also upload the video to YouTube.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Rectangle Dies - Flowers for Every Season DSP

In the Flowers for All Season DSP which I used last week, I discovered this beautiful yellow rose paper. I’m not sure how I missed it previously but it seemed perfect for today’s card. There’s a white mat around the DSP which is then adhered to a BumbleBee card base.

Then the Happiest of Birthdays sentiment stamp was stamped in Bumblebee on whisper white and then cut out using the Stitched Rectancle dies. The sentiment was popped up with dimensionals and a few gold glimmer enamel dots were added.

Come and join me on Facebook on Sunday at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I also upload the video to YouTube.

Take your Poppy Parade layer and heat emboss the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays in gold. Then add a gold foil mat and place onto a Poppy Parade card base. Add a few gold glitter enamel dots and you’re done. Just the thing if you’ve almost forgotten someone’s birthday and you’re short of time!
