Masterfully Made DSP

Here’s the third card using the Masterfully Made DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Masterfully Made DSP - Layering Leaves - Countryside Corners Dies

The Masterfully Made DSP pattern was cut to 3 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches and matted with Pretty Peacock an 1/4 inch larger horizontally. This is easiest if you have a Stamparatus; sadly they are no longer available. This layer was then added to a Lost Lagoon card base.

The sentiment from Layering Leaves was stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Lost Lagoon and die cut using the Countryside Corners dies. It was then attached to the card using dimensionals. At a final touch, I added some gems from the Glossy Dots assortment. Although they are officially Pool Party I thought they worked.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Masterfully Made DSP

This week using I’m the Masterfully Made DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Masterfully Made DSP - Layering Leaves - Natural Prints Dies

The Masterfully Made DSP pattern was cut to 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches and matted with Pretty Peacock an 1/4 inch larger horizontally. This was then layered onto a Lost Lagoon card (so happy this color is back).

The sentiment from Layering Leaves was stamped in Pretty Peacock onto Lost Lagoon and die cut using the Natural Prints dies. It was attached to the card using dimensionals. At a final touch, I added some gems from the Glossy Dots assortment.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Masterfully Made DSP

This week I’m the Masterfully Made DSP. I confess that I was surprised to find this in my pile of new things since I couldn’t understand why I’d ordered it – unless I’d fat fingered something else.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Masterfully Made DSP - Layering Leaves

The Masterfully Made DSP pattern was cut to 3 by 2 inches and matted with Pretty Peacock an 1/8 inch larger

The sentiment from the Layering Leaves set was stamped in Pretty Peacock onto a Lost Lagoon card base. Next the matted layer was added to the card.

Finally a few Rhinestone basic jewels were coloured using the Pretty Peacock dark blend and then added to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Textured Floral

This week I’m using the Textured Floral bundle. Today I’m using just Berry Burst and Pretty Peacock.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Textured Floral - Textured Floral dies

Using Berry Burst I stamped three of the smallest flower and cut them out using the  Textured Floral dies. Next I cut out two of the greenery in Pretty Peacock. These were placed one above the other on a white layer. The flowers were added to the greenery with dimensionals with the middle one hiding where the two green die cuts met.

The sentiment from the Textured Floral set was stamped in Berry Burst. The white layer was then added to a Pretty Peacock card base.

Finally a few of the Tinsel Gems Four Pack were added to the flowers.

Textured Floral

This week I’m using the Textured Floral bundle. I liked the mixture of rich colors from the last card so much that I decided to stick with them.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Textured Floral - Textured Floral dies - Stylish Shapes dies

Using Berry Burst, Starry Sky and Pretty Peacock I stamped some of the images. Next they were cut out using the Textured Floral dies. Technically, they didn’t all need to be die-cut, some could have been stamped directly onto the white layer but I wasn’t certain about the design when I started!

The sentiment from the Textured Floral set was stamped in Starry Sky. It was then cut out using the Stylish Shapes dies. Then it was just a matter of constructing the card. I wanted a petal over the sentiment which explains why nothing was popped up. Also the larger Berry Burst flower was slightly on top of the greenery. It was then attached to a Starry Sky card base.

Finally a few of the Festive Pearls were added after first being colored using the dark Pretty Peacock blend.
