Dandy Garden Memories and More

This week I’m showcasing the Dandy Garden Memories and More card pack. But this time I’m not using the matching card bases – I wanted to show how good the M&M cards look on “regular” card bases.

I cut down the card to 5 by 3 3/4 inches and added a Mossy Meadow mat. Next the Mossy Meadow braided linen trim was added and tied in a bow before adding this to the Bumblebee card base.

I decided that the card could be used for many purposes and so no sentiment was added. It’s a very clean and simple card – my favourite kind.

I hope that this week I’ve shown you that the Dandy Garden Memories and More card packs are versatile and fun to use.

I’ll be making this card and 2 others later at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Come and join me, share my live and be put in the raffle for a prize.

Dandy Garden Memories and More

This week I’m showcasing the Dandy Garden Memories and More card pack. The card pack is amazing; there is so much to work with.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Dandy Garden Memories and More - Dandy Garden Memories & More cards & envelopes - Stitched Rectangle dies - Dragonfly Garden

I cut down the card a little to allow room to add a Bumblebee mat before adhering it to a Dandy Garden Memories & More card. Next I used Daffodil Delight and Garden Green watercolor pencils to add a little color to the card.

The sentiment comes from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow and then cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. Before popping this up with dimensionals, I added some of the Mossy Meadow braided linen trim – I love the feel of it, it’s very soft. Finally, the card of course needed some of the wonderful Ladybug Trinkets.

I’ll be making this card on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Come and join me, share my live and be put in the raffle for a prize.

Dandy Garden Memories and More

This week I’m trying a new to me product, the Dandy Garden Memories and More card pack. The card pack is amazing; for just $10 you get 50 double sided cards, 2 each of 25 designs and sticker sheets.

I combined this with the Dandy Garden Memories & More cards & envelopes which is also a great deal – 20 decorated cards and envelopes for $10.

One of the card fronts was trimmed down and then placed on a Mossy Meadow mat. Before adding that to a Dandy Garden Memories & More card, a piece of Bumblebee ribbon was knotted around it.

The sentiment comes from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow and then cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. As a final touch, a few of the fabulous Ladybug Trinkets were added. I think I’m going to need another order of those!

I’ll be making this card on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am EST. Come and join me, share my live and be put in the raffle for a prize.

Paper Blooms DSP

This week I’m working with the Sale-a-bration paper, Paper Blooms DSP. Don’t forget that your chance to earn this freebie ends on the 28th of February.

Here is one of my favourite patterns from the Paper Blooms DSP which I used to create a simple thank you card. I’m also trying to highlight the colors which will be retiring this year. Thus I used a card base of Rococo Rose which goes so well with the Night of Navy mat.

The sentiment is again from Peaceful Moments and stamped directly onto the Paper Blooms paper in Night of Navy.

I’ll be showing this card and two others using Paper Blooms DSP on my Facebook Live later today at 11am.

See you on Wednesday,

Paper Blooms DSP

This week I’m working with the Sale-a-bration paper, Paper Blooms DSP. It’s a level 1 reward, meaning it’s a $50 order redemption. Don’t forget that this year, Sale-a-bration only runs for 2 months and ends on the 28th of February.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Paper Blooms DSP - Peaceful Moments

On Wednesday I used the Paper Blooms DSP to create a fairly vibrant birthday card. Today I’m showing the versatility of the paper and creating a sympathy card.

As sympathy cards tend to be, this is a very simple card – it’s merely a rectangle of DSP matted in Old Olive and put onto a Soft Sea Foam card base. My preference is to stamp before attaching to the card base just in case there’s an issue. Of course there are ways to hide wonky or halo sentiments but you have more scope if the layer isn’t glued down.

So I like to put the layer where I want it and then ink up the sentiment, move the layer out of the way and stamp. The sentiment comes from  Peaceful Moments; it’s stamped in Old Olive.

I’ll be showing this card and two others using Paper Blooms DSP on Sunday at 11am EST on my Facebook Live.
