Party Puffins

Here’s a fun card using a new set in the annual catalog.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Party Puffins

The puffin was stamped in momento black and then colored in using the Poppy Parade and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write markers. I’m not sure why I didn’t use the blends since they would work too. The whisper white layer was then matted in Poppy Parade and added to the same color card base. The sentiment, which comes from Party Puffins, was stamped directly on the card base in Poppy Parade.

I’ll be demonstrating this card on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live and also uploading it to YouTube.

Expressions in ink DSP

Here is the final card for the week featuring the Expressions in ink DSP. The matching stamp set Artistically Inked was also used as before for the sentiments.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Expressions in ink DSP - Artistically Inked

This piece of DSP is part of a 12 by 12 inch sheet as usual but this one would make a fabulous background for scrapbooking. Since I haven’t got into that, I made mine into a card. I’ll show you the entire sheet on my FaceBook Live later on today. The 3 by 3 inch piece of the Expressions in ink DSP was matted in gold foil. Before adding that to the Just Jade card base, the sentiment was heat embossed in gold.

Expressions in ink DSP

This week’s product of the week is the stunning Expressions in ink DSP. The only use of the matching stamp set Artistically Inked on this week’s cards is for the sentiments. I wanted to really focus on the DSP this week and will create with the rest of the suite later on.

This is another very clean and simple card. A piece of the Expressions in ink DSP was cut to the length of the card and then matted with gold foil on each side. The sentiment from the coordinating Artistically Ink set was stamped in Polished Pink onto a Whisper White card base.  All that was left then was to attach the matted DSP to the card base. Finally a few of the in color jewels were added.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Expressions in ink DSP - Stitched Rectangle Dies - Artistically Inked

This is a very clean and simple card. It consists of a piece of the Expressions in ink DSP matted with gold foil and then adhered to a Shaded Spruce card base. The sentiment from the coordinating Artistically Ink set was heat embossed in gold on more Shaded Spruce. Finally this was die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and popped up with dimensionals.

Better Places

Firstly I want to remind you about the free shipping deal that Stampin’ Up! is running TODAY ONLY! On orders over $70, that’s a 10% saving, below $70 it’s a higher percentage because it’s a flat $6.95.

Last week I focused on the host set, Better Places but due to sickness didn’t get the second and third cards blogged on schedule. I posted one yesterday and here’s the last one.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Better Places - Stitched Rectangle Dies

I wanted to use the third, and last, image stamp in the Better Places host set for this card. The leafy branch was stamped in Evening Evergreen up the side of the Soft Seafoam card base. The sentiment, also from Better Places, was stamped in Evening Evergreen and then die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. After popping it up with dimensionals, some white Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Check out my Facebook Live that I did on Sunday at 11am EDT or you can also see it on YouTube. Share my Live and I’ll add you to my raffle for next week.
