A Little Lace

This week I’m focusing on a retiring set, A Little Lace. Currently it’s still available but it’s as supplies last so don’t wait.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - A Little Lace

This is a very simple card. I stamped the image and sentiment from the A Little Lace set in Magenta Madness on a whisper white layer. Next I added a Magenta Madness mat before adhering the layers to a whisper white card base. Next a scattering of transparent Elegant Faceted gems And that’s it! Very simple.

Art Gallery

Here’s the third card showcasing the Art Gallery Bundle this week. The bundle consists of the Art Gallery Stamp set and Floral Art dies (buy together and save 10%; 156227 $50.25) and coordinates with the Fine Art Floral DSP (154558, $11.50).

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Art Gallery - Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - Gilded Leafing Embellishment

Today, I’m just using the Art Gallery stamp set plus a very special embellishment, Gilded Leafing, which is currently backordered and should be available in a couple of weeks.

I stamped the flower in Poppy Parade and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. After it was really dry, I stamped the other image in versamark, sprinkled on the heat and stick powder and heated with the heat tool. Heat just until it’s glossy, which means it’s sticky. Go too far and it loses it’s stickiness. Ask me how I know!! Take a sponge dauber and take pieces of the Gilded Leafing and rub them onto the glossy Heat and Stick powder. It’s really exciting.

The sentiment is stamped in more Poppy Parade and die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and then popped up using dimensionals. The mat is of course more Poppy Parade and then that’s put onto a Very Vanilla card base.

Don’t forget that my BOGO started this past Friday. You still have time since it goes until Monday at 6pm EDT. Here’s the link to join the Facebook group: http://www.myelegantcards.com/upcoming-bogo/

Art Gallery Bundle

Here’s the second card showcasing the Art Gallery Bundle this week. The bundle consists of the Art Gallery Stamp set and Floral Art dies (buy together and save 10%; 156227 $50.25) and coordinates with the Fine Art Floral DSP (154558, $11.50).

As on Wednesday, I chose a piece of the Fine Art Floral DSP and this time matted it in Pretty Peacock although that color isn’t mentioned in the list of colors in the DSP. More Pretty Peacock was used to stamp the sentiment onto the paper.

Next the Fine Floral Dies were used to die cut the words in Pool Party which were adhered with the multifunctional glue.  This was then glued to a Pool Party card base. The finishing touch was a few of the Elegant Faceted Gems (152464, $7.50 for 90 gems) my latest favourite.

Art Gallery Bundle

This week I am showcasing the Art Gallery Bundle which consists of the Art Gallery Stamp set and Floral Art dies (buy together and save 10%; 156227 $50.25) and coordinates with the Fine Art Floral DSP (154558, $11.50).

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Art Gallery Bundle - Art Gallery - Floral Gallery Dies - Fine Art Floral DSP

This is a simple card but rather striking. I chose a piece of the Fine Art Floral DSP and matted it in Mossy Meadow, one of the colors in the patterned paper. Before adhering it to a Whisper White thick card base, I added a knotted piece of the Mossy Meadow Braided Linen trim (154298, $7). It really is lovely stuff and not too much for the card.

The sentiment comes from the Art Gallery stamp set and was stamped in Mossy Meadow and cut out using the Floral Gallery dies. This was popped up with dimensionals which server a double purpose of also keeping the trim in check.
