Crane of Fortune

This week I’m using the Crane of Fortune bundle although this card only uses the stamp set. The stamp set is one of the marvellously detailed distinktive styles.

Just look at the detail on the crane which was a single stamp stamped in Momento Tuxedo black. I added a flash of Poppy Parade on the back of his head using the dark blend of Poppy Parade.

The sentiment, also from Crane of Fortune was stamped in Poppy Parade on the white layer. This was then matted on Poppy Parade and attached to a Whisper White card base although in the photo it looks a bit creamy.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT. It will also be uploaded to YouTube.

In the Moment

This week I’m using the stamp set In the Moment (157987, $24). It has three main images which are line art and 3 sentiments.

I saw a presenter at onstage doing white embossing with this set; sadly I don’t have her name.

I decided to do a third white heat embossing, this time on a Misty Moonlight layer. This was mounted onto white card. Then I cut another piece of Misty Moonlight 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 to cover the entire card. It was then dry embossed using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.

I made this card plus two others using In The Moment at my Facebook Live this morning. See it on Facebook or on my YouTube channel.

In the Moment

This week I’m using the stamp set In the Moment (157987, $24). It has three main images which are line art and 3 sentiments.

Really I can’t imagine why it’s taken me so long to use this set, it’s really fun. I got the idea for heat embossing in white and using the white watercolor pencil from a presenter on the last onstage. Sadly I don’t have her name.

I decided to do another white heat embossing, this time on a Soft Saffron layer. After that I mounted it onto white card. The wine glass was coloured using the Cherry Cobbler watercolour pencil and the table with the white. A little Wink of Stella was added to the wine glass.

The sentiment was then stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the layer was attached to the card base.

I’ll be making this card plus two others using In The Moment at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT and will also copy it to my YouTube channel.

In the Moment

This week I’m using the stamp set In the Moment (157987, $24). It has three main images which are line art and 3 sentiments.

I got the idea for heat embossing in white and using the white watercolor pencil from a presenter on the last onstage. Sadly I don’t have her name.

I decided to use Pacific Point as the card base and layer for stamping. After stamping both stamps in versamark, they were covered in white embossing powder and then heated. Next I trimmed the card down a bit and matted it in white.

The white watercolor pencil was used for the window sill and the bars of the window. When that was complete it was mounted on the Pacific Point card base. Finally a few of the Rhinestones Waves basic jewels were added.

I’ll be making this card plus two others using In The Moment at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT and will also copy it to my YouTube channel.

Waves of Inspiration

This week I’m using the Waves of the Ocean suite which will be featured in the upcoming annual catalog. But it’s available now and the DSP, blue foils pack and the embellishments are only available whilst supplies last. Today I’m using the stamp set and the dies.

This monochrome card was made in Night of Navy to match the blue foil on Whisper White. The blue foil mats the main layer and it was also cut out using the Waves dies and glued to the card with liquid glue. I added some Wink of Stella and a few of the beautiful Rhinestones Waves Basic Jewels.

This was the second card that I made in this design. The original was this one but when recreating it on my live this morning, I decided to try monochrome. Which do you prefer?

I made the monochrome along with 2 others on my Facebook Live this morning at 11am. It was also copied to YouTube.
