In the Pines bundle

This week I’m showcasing on the In the Pines bundle (155182, $51.25 with the bundled savings). The bundle consists of the In the Pines 14 piece photopolymer stamp set and the 9 piece Pine Woods dies. There is a lot to craft with here!

First I cut out the sloping snow bank using the Pine Wood dies and then stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow, some of which will  be standing on the bank. Next the sentiment was stamped, also in Mossy Meadow. The snow bank was then glued onto the whisper white layer which was put on the Mossy Meadow card base. Next a clear Wink of Stella added sparkle to the snow bank and also to the trees where I pulled some of the ink to give a sense of snow on the branches.

I feel that this In the Pines bundle is going to feature strongly in my Christmas cards this year, but I think I’ve been saying that of all the Christmas sets that I’ve tried!

In the Pines bundle

This week I’m focusing on the In the Pines bundle (155182, $51.25 with the bundled savings). The bundle consists of the In the Pines 14 piece photopolymer stamp set and the 9 piece Pine Woods dies.

After die cutting the tree in very vanilla, the rest of the very vanilla layer was adhered to an old olive card base. Next the die cut tree was popped up with tiny pieces of dimensionals so that the old olive shows through.

The sentiment is from the In the Pines stamp set and is stamped in old olive. It was then die cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits dies and glued right onto the very vanilla layer. The finishing touch was the old olive and gold  bow made from the All The trimmings ribbon combo pack adhered with a glue dot.

Ridiculously Awesome

Last week, I was showcasing a really fun and encouraging set, Ridiculously Awesome (152512, $22) which was inspired by Ronda Wade and created by Sara’s husband Sean Douglass. I forgot that I hadn’t actually published this yesterday so here it is now.

To make the background I pressed an E block into the mango melody ink pad and then used the take your pick tool to add little swirls of melon mambo ink. Next I spritzed the block with water and then pressed it onto a piece of watercolor paper and left it to dry.

Once it was dry, I heat embossed the title sentiment from Ridiculously Awesome using gold powder. This was then mounted on a mango melody card base and finished off with some gold glimmer enamel dots.

Ridiculously Awesome

This week, as I mentioned on Wednesday, I’m showcasing a really fun and encouraging set, Ridiculously Awesome (152512, $22) which was inspired by Ronda Wade’s (for her one million in sales) and created by Sara’s husband Sean Douglass.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Ridiculously Awesome - Rectangle Stitched Dies

I made this card extremely simple, but I believe, elegant. The sentiment is embossed using gold embossing powder and then die cut using the rectangle stitched dies.  Unusually, I glued it straight onto the thick very vanilla base. The finishing touch were a few gold glitter enamel dots.

I’ll be demonstrating 3 cards made with the Ridiculously Awesome set on my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EST.

I stamped the great sentiment in real red on very vanilla. Next I cut out a window in the piece of Poinsettia Place DSP (15% off this month) using the Rectangle Stitched dies. After that I positioned the DSP’s opening over the sentiment and then attached it to the real red case base. A bow made with the real red 3/8 inch sheer ribbon finished off the card.

Wouldn’t this card be a great pick-me-up?
