Simply Marbleous DSP

The Simply Marbleous DSP is available to you for FREE when you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration. Here I’m using the more swirly side of the sheet. The colors are Misty Moonlight, Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue. I love how they look together – this paper pack may well give me ideas for colour combinations.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Simply Marbleous DSP - Happiest of Birthdays

This is a supremely simple card; the DSP was cut to 4 by 5 1/4 inches. Next the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays was stamped in versamark and then heat embossed with silver powder. Finally the embossed DSP was  put on a Misty Moonlight card base.

This card is quite a celebration for me. I lost this stamp a few months ago and thought it was gone for good. It had managed to stick itself to the plastic covering a package of DSP. I’ve been meaning to sort out my DSP for a while and when I finally did, I found this stamp. So not only are things tidier (well the DSP is), I was rewarded with my missing stamp. Hence the choice of the sentiment on this card!

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others also using the Simply Marbleous DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday. It’s at 11am EST and I hope to see you there.

Happiest of Birthdays

This week I’m focusing on the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. It’s a 4 piece cling stamp set (152539, $19) which can make really fast cards for when you’re in a rush! Except when one of the stamps disappears and you have to spend time cleaning up to try to find it! I still haven’t found it, but my craft room is a lot tidier! I’m beginning to suspect it stuck to my shirt which means it could be anywhere in the house…

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - Forever Greenery DSP

The background for this card is a piece of the Forever Greenery DSP which I’m trying to use up this month. It is on a Soft Sea Foam cardbase.  The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock and then die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. Sadly I was really late to the party regarding how well Pretty Peacock coordinates with Soft Sea Foam. After popping up the sentiment with dimensionals, a few Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Come and join me on Facebook today at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I will also upload the video to YouTube.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Happiest of Birthdays - Stitched Rectangle Dies - Flowers for Every Season DSP

In the Flowers for All Season DSP which I used last week, I discovered this beautiful yellow rose paper. I’m not sure how I missed it previously but it seemed perfect for today’s card. There’s a white mat around the DSP which is then adhered to a BumbleBee card base.

Then the Happiest of Birthdays sentiment stamp was stamped in Bumblebee on whisper white and then cut out using the Stitched Rectancle dies. The sentiment was popped up with dimensionals and a few gold glimmer enamel dots were added.

Come and join me on Facebook on Sunday at 11am EDT to learn how to make this and 2 others. I also upload the video to YouTube.

Take your Poppy Parade layer and heat emboss the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays in gold. Then add a gold foil mat and place onto a Poppy Parade card base. Add a few gold glitter enamel dots and you’re done. Just the thing if you’ve almost forgotten someone’s birthday and you’re short of time!
