Peaceful Place Specialty DSP

This week’s product is the rather gorgeous Peaceful Place Specialty DSP (156394, $15). It’s a specialty paper due to all the silver foil. It’s quite spectacular and I had a hard time selecting which 3 patterns to showcase this week.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Peaceful Place Specialty DSP - Evergreen Elegance

This is a very simple card to make – the DSP is cut to 5 by 3 3/4 inches and the silver foil to 5 1/8 by 3 7/8 inches. Next stamp the sentiment in Evening Evergreen – if there is any issue, you can always restamp, die cut and put it over the top. After that add the DSP to the silver foil mat and that to a white card base. And that’s all she wrote. You can make a dozen of these fairly swiftly if you get in a crunch with Christmas cards.

I’ll be demonstrating this card plus 2 others at my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EDT. I also copy it to YouTube if you prefer that medium.

All Squared Away bundle

This week’s product is the All Squared Away bundle (158382, $45) which consists of the All Squared stamp set and the Floral Squares dies. Here’s my third card using this bundle this week.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - All Squared Away bundle - All Squared stamp set - Floral Squares dies

First I cut out the square die in Evening Evergreen three times. Next the flowers were die cut in Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia. Then using my paper snips, I cut the frames off after which the flowers were glued on. I thought it was a bit too matchy matchy and pruned one of the plants. This gave me just 5 flowers which is more pleasing to the eye than six.  After that I added the sentiment in Evening Evergreen.

Next I glued the flowers into place on the Very Vanilla card base and covered my imperfect snipping with a piece of Evening Evergreen open weave ribbon. It also grounded the flowers. The gems are basic rhinestones coloured with the dark Evening Evergreen blends pen.

I’ll be showing how I made this at my Live later on today at 11am EDT along with another 2 using this bundle.

All Squared Away bundle

This week’s product is the All Squared Away bundle (158382, $45) which consists of the All Squared stamp set and the Floral Squares dies.

I stamped a few of the squares onto scrap paper using Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. Next I die cut the flowers and also included some silver foil as well. I then glued the flowers onto the right hand side of the Whisper White layer and added it to a Polished Pink card base. On another piece of scrap, I stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink, cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles dies and popped it up with dimensionals. The final touch was adding some basic rhinestones in the centre of the flowers.

I’ll be showing how I made this at my Live on Sunday at 11am EDT along with another 2 using this bundle. Do join me live or on the replay.

I cut out the square die in Evening Evergreen and then cut out the flowers using Polished Pink. I glued the Polished Pink flowers over the base and attached it to a Very Vanilla card base. Then I stamped the sentiment (from the All Squared stamp set) in more Evening Evergreen and that was it. A very clean and simple card and I think, quite striking.

I’ll be showing how I made this at my Live on Sunday at 11am EDT along with another 2 using this bundle.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is now available to order. I really love this paper.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Stitched Rectangle dies - Whimsical Trees

Like Friday’s card this is also a good card to make in multiples; the 2 sheets with this pattern will allow you to make 24 quite quickly.

The 2 inch wide piece of DSP is layered onto a Mint Macaron mat which just peeks out at the side. It’s then added to a Whisper White card base – I use a ruler to ensure that the strip is flush with the card base. Next the sentiment from Whimsical Trees was stamped in Mint Macaron and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was then popped up with dimensionals and some basic rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card and 2 others on my Facebook Live later today at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.
