Tiny Christmas Trees dies

Here’s my third card using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies.

So I used the Tiny Christmas Trees dies on a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 4 by 5 1/4. It was then added to a Very Vanilla card base.

I took some of the Tiny Trees and coloured them using the blends. I pulled out a bunch of the greens – Parakeet Party, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce. I coloured a cutout tree in each of these colors and added a Poppy Parade for a pop of color.

The sentiment from Christmas Classics was stamped in Poppy Parade and die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies and added to the card. Then using multipurpose glue, I added the coloured trees along with one in Granny Apple Green foil.

I added a gold embellishment from the Festive Pearls to each tree.

Tiny Christmas Trees dies

This week I’m using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies and the Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green foil sheets. I didn’t have a whole layer of trees this time so it wasn’t quite as hard to photograph. Still tricky though!

I used the Around the Bend dies to cut a couple of pieces of white card to create hills. I’ve thought of a better way to do this next time which I’ll use tomorrow. I then used a white card base and the blending brushes to create a moody looking sky. The colors used were Night of Navy, Berry Burst and Orchid Oasis.

The hills were then added to the card and the sentiment from Stars at Night was stamped in Granny Apple Green. Next a piece of Granny Apple Green foil was used to cut out the trees using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies. These were added to the top of the hills using multipurpose glue.

Finally an adhesive backed star trinket was added to the sky and, some of the adhesive backed snowflake assortment added to the snow.

Tiny Christmas Trees dies

This week I’m using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies and the Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green foil sheets. This was incredibly difficult to photograph since the melon mambo foil looked different from different angles. This was the best I could get and it was from my iPhone rather than my Nikon.

So I used the Tiny Christmas Trees dies on a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 3 1/2 by 4 1/2. It was matted onto a piece of the Melon Mambo foil measuring 3 3/4 by 4 3/4 and then added to a Very Vanilla card base.

The sentiment from Christmas Classics was stamped in Melon Mambo, trimmed and added to the card. Some of the Iridescent Adhesive backed discs were added.
