Tiny Christmas Trees dies

This week I’m using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies and the Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green foil sheets. I didn’t have a whole layer of trees this time so it wasn’t quite as hard to photograph. Still tricky though!

I used the Around the Bend dies to cut a couple of pieces of white card to create hills. I’ve thought of a better way to do this next time which I’ll use tomorrow. I then used a white card base and the blending brushes to create a moody looking sky. The colors used were Night of Navy, Berry Burst and Orchid Oasis.

The hills were then added to the card and the sentiment from Stars at Night was stamped in Granny Apple Green. Next a piece of Granny Apple Green foil was used to cut out the trees using the Tiny Christmas Trees dies. These were added to the top of the hills using multipurpose glue.

Finally an adhesive backed star trinket was added to the sky and, some of the adhesive backed snowflake assortment added to the snow.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live tomorrow morning at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut card stock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Stars at Night

Today I’m using the Stars at Night stamp set and used some of the stamps that don’t immediately look Christmassy.

The Basic White layer was cut to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and then the two stamps were stamped in Pretty Peacock. The berries were coloured with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write marker and also some Wink of Stella. The sentiment, from the Stars at Night stamp set was stamped in Pretty Peacock directly onto the white layer.

This was then added to a Pretty Peacock card base and a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots were added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live later today at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut card stock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Stars at Night bundle

This week I’m using the Stars at Night bundle which consists of stamps and dies but also an embossing folder.

The Starry Sky card stock was cut to 5 1/4 by 4 inches and embossed with the embossing folder. This was layered onto a Starry Sky card base. The sentiment, from the Stars at Night stamp set was heat embossed in gold onto a scrap of Starry Sky. The scrap was trimmed to 4 1/2 by 1/2 inch and adhered to the card. I did contemplate adding some gold foil as a mat but it seemed a bit much with the embellishments. The embellishments were some of the Adhesive backed star trinkets.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Stars at Night bundle

This week I’m using the Stars at Night bundle which consists of stamps and dies but also an embossing folder. Apologies for the delay but the time I was planning to craft this week was used for napping after too many medical appointments this week!

The Night of Navy cardstock was cut to a 2 1/2 inch square and die cut using the Stars at Night dies. It was then matted with a 2 5/8 inch square of silver foil. The sentiment from the Stars at Night was heat embossed in silver directly onto the Night of Navy card base. Next the layered piece was added to the card base.

Finally a few of the silver Festive Pearls were  added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.
