Texture Chic Specialty DSP

The week I’m focusing on the Texture Chic Specialty DSP with a bit of help from the new set Charming Sentiments. This is a specialty DSP which means  that there is gold foil on one side of all the sheets. But here I’m using one of the sheets without gold foil.

This is a 2 inch wide strip of the Texture Chic specialty DSP matted onto a strip of Mango Melody. The matted DSP was attached to a white card base.

Next the sentiment was stamped in Mango Melody and die cut with the Layering Circles dies. A mat of Mango Melody was cut using the same die set and attached to the sentiment circle. This was then added to the card with dimensionals.

Finally some basic rhinestones were colored using the dark Mango Melody blend and added to the card.

I made this card plus 2 more using this DSP at my Facebook Live this morning at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube in case you prefer that medium.

Texture Chic Specialty DSP

The week I’m focusing on the Texture Chic Specialty DSP with a bit of help from the new set Charming Sentiments. This is a specialty DSP which means  that there is gold foil on one side of all the sheets.

This card is also using a Pool Party card base which is not a color that I use often. I think I should use it more after the last couple of cards that I’ve made.

This is a layout that I’ve used before, although as a horizontal card which means you need a vertical greeting. Alternatively I suppose you could have a die cut over the DSP but I’m trying not to hide any of it!

The DSP is layered onto gold foil that is 1/4 inch longer than the DSP for a wider than usual border. Finally the greeting from Charming Sentiments was stamped in Pool Party.

I’ll be showing this card plus 2 more using this DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube in case you prefer that medium.

Texture Chic Specialty DSP

The week I’m focusing on the Texture Chic Specialty DSP with a bit of help from the new set Charming Sentiments. This is a specialty DSP which obviously means that it’s special. Here it means gold foil on one side of all the sheets.

It was difficult to decide which pattern to start with but I finally decided on this one. It’s so pretty I wanted to really show it off. So here is a rectangle of the DSP matted in gold foil.

Next the sentiment from Charming Sentiments was heat embossed in gold on to a Pool Party card base. Finally the matted DSP was added to the card. Defintely a clean and simple card.

I’ll be showing this card plus 2 more using this DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to my raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube in case you prefer that medium.
