In Good Taste DSP

This week I am focusing on the In Good Taste DSP which is retiring in a couple of days. It’s an extra large package (24 sheets) of pictures of walls, floors and textiles and is fun to use. I have a spare package and will send half to each of the first two people to place a $30 order with me.

I have previously posted cards using this DSP so if you search for In Good Taste you should find them in order to get more inspiration.

Today’s card is a similar layout to yesterday. A 3 3/4 by 5 inch piece of the DSP was matted with Blackberry Bliss.  Next it was attached to a white card base.

The sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments and was stamped with Blackberry Bliss. It was then cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits Next it was attached to the card base and finally some basic rhinestones were added.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. I also upload it to YouTube, links below.

I have previously posted cards using this DSP so if you search for In Good Taste you should find them in order to get more inspiration.

Today’s card is similar to yesterday’s – a 3 3/4 by 5 inch piece of the DSP which was stamped in Misty Moonlight. It was then matted with Misty Moonlight and attached to a white card base. Finally a few basic rhinestones were added.

The sentiment came from Peaceful Moments, I really like this one – the typeface and the shape of it.

I’ll be making this card plus 2 others using the In Good Taste DSP on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. I also upload it to YouTube, links below.

Here you can see the amazing texture and although I chose to make a sympathy card, you could make any type. It’s extremely versatile. I have previously posted 3 cards made using this DSP so if you search for In Good Taste you should find them.

Today’s card is a 3 3/4 by 5 inch piece of the DSP which was stamped in Evening Evergreen. It was then matted with Evening Evergreen and attached to a white card base. Finally a few basic rhinestones were added.

In Good Taste DSP

Happy New Year! I hope that you’ve had a relaxing holiday season and that it included some crafting.

I am still working on increasing my birthday card stash and here’s another gender free one. The In Good Taste DSP really works for masculine cards which I know a lot of people struggle with. This is a double stack of DSP – 24 sheets of double sided papers, 2 each of 12 designs (152494, $21) so you can make a lot of cards.

I cut the In Good Taste DSP to 2 7/8 by 5 1/2 inches. It was then matted with a piece of Night of Navy an 1/8 inch wider.

The sentiment, from Celebrate with Flowers, was stamped onto a Whisper White card base in Night of Navy. I really love having a vertical sentiment available again.

Finally I added the matted layer to the card base, not adding any gems since I didn’t want it to look pretty.

I’ll be making this card on my Live today at 11am EST along with a couple more also using the In Good Taste DSP. Normally I also upload the video to YouTube but as of last week, I’m still struggling to get the live video downloaded.

I am trying to increase my birthday card stash – do you need to as well? The In Good Taste DSP really works for masculine cards which I know a lot of people struggle with. This is a double stack of DSP – 24 sheets of double sided papers, 2 each of 12 designs (152494, $21) so you can make a lot. Especially if like me, you ordered a pack and then somehow forgot that you had and got another using host rewards! And yes, it was on the same order. LOL.

I cut the In Good Taste DSP to 3 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches. It was then matted with a piece of Night of Navy an 1/8 inch wider. This pattern reminds me of tiles I’ve seen in Barcelona which makes me like it even more.

The sentiment, from Celebrate with Flowers, was stamped onto a Whisper White card base in Night of Navy. I really love having a vertical sentiment available again.

Finally I added the matted layer to the card base, positioning it so that the sentiment was in the middle of its white space.

I’ll be making this card on my Live on Sunday at 11am EST along with a couple more also using the In Good Taste DSP.
