Bright and Beautiful DSP

Here’s the third card showing the Bright and Beautiful DSP. It’s such a gorgeous paper.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Earthen Textures dies - Dainty Delight - Bright and Beautiful DSP

The Bright and Beautiful DSP was cut into 3 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. Then it was matted with a piece of Pretty Peacock measuring 3 3/8 by 5 1/2 inches. This was then added to a white card base.

. The sentiment, stamped in Lemon Lime Twist, is from Dainty Delights and cut out with the Earthen Textures dies. The die cut was then trimmed so that there are straight edges at both ends of the label. It was then added to the card using dimensionals

I used the dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ blend to color a few of the rhinestone basic jewels  and then added them to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday eastern at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Dainty Flowers DSP

Here’s my nineth card using the Dainty Flowers DSP, a pack of paper you can get for free from the Saleabration brochure with a $50 product order until the end of the month.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Dainty Flowers DSP - Dainty Delight

I decided to use one of the two patterns that are completely different – they are watercolors with splatters, not a flower in sight. The Dainty Flowers DSP was cut into six pieces of 5 1/4 by 4 so that I could have my choice – I’d already determined that I wanted to use Starry Sky as the card base. It’s such a fabulous colour.

By testing on the scrap left over, I found that when stamping directly onto the DSP, it was best to keep away from the splatters to improve legibility. So after stamping the greeting in Starry Sky onto the DSP, I added it to the card base. It didn’t seem to need embellishments since it had all the splatters.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live later on today at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Dainty Flowers DSP

The Dainty Flowers DSP is a pack of paper you can get for free from the Saleabration brochure with a $50 product order until the end of the month. I’ve already designed and shown 3 cards using it back in January and also used it for my Mail & Make class this month. Here’s the second of another three!

There’s a sheet of the Dainty Flowers DSP which has oval flower wreath frames and in the middle of those is this pattern. After cutting it out, I trimmed it to 5 1/2 inches long and matted it with Crushed Curry using my stamparatus. Next it was added to a white card base.

The sentiment from Dainty Delight was stamped in Crushed Curry and die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. It was matted onto the matching scalloped circle in Crushed Curry.

To complete the card, I added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern.

It’s a really good pack with varied patterns and I can’t not use it again. I’ve designed and shown 3 cards using it back in January and also used it for my Mail & Make class this month. Now I’m doing another three!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Dainty Flowers DSP - Dainty Delight

There’s a sheet of the Dainty Flowers DSP which has oval flower wreath frames so this makes for a very easy card. I carefully cut out a frame and matted it on a Starry Sky mat. We don’t have oval dies at the moment and none of the others looked right. So I stamped the sentiment from Dainty Delight in Starry Sky directly onto the DSP. The matted DSP was then added to a white card base.

To complete the card, I colored a few rhinestones basic jewels with the dark Starry Sky blends and then added them to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Next, the sentiment from Dainty Delight was stamped in Calypso Coral and cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. This was added to the card using dimensionals.
