Time is running out

Sale-a-bration only runs until the end of the month, so there are only 3 weeks to go. Three weeks to join the family by buying the starter kit.

12.01.17_SHAREABLE3_SAB_PRE-EARN_ENG

The starter kit is always an amazing deal – it’s fully customizable and for just $99 you get $125 of quality product of your choice, shipped free, but during Sale-a-bration, it’s even better. You get to add any 2 stamp sets (a value of up to $101). This could save you almost $150 on the product and shipping depending on which free stamps you select.

There are a lot of perks to being part of Stampin’ Up!

  • 20% discount on all your orders with the potential to push that 25%
  • Earn additional income up to another 18% of your sales
  • Volume rebates, team commissions, performance bonuses
  • VIP access to new product releases at least a month before the general public
  • Earn free product with various promotions
  • Qualify for, product rewards, incentive trips and more
  • Receive the exclusive Stampin’ Success magazine quarterly
  • Eligible to attend Stampin’ Up! events twice per year and be the very first to see the new catalogs almost two months before launch

What do you have to lose?! What was the last thing that you spent $99 on? Not as good a deal as this one, I’m betting. There is also a business pack included, valued at $50 in case you want to start your own business. This includes 8 copies of the current catalogue so that you can share if you like. Or not. It’s totally up to you. And finally, you also receive a free past Paper Pumpkin kit to introduce you to the program.

Once you’ve joined, you immediately get a 20% discount off all future orders as long as you remain current and you have the potential to push that to 25% with reasonable sales (sales to yourself count). To remain current, all you need to do is sell/buy $300 of product per quarter (not including the one that you signed up in) – with your discount that’s less than $20 per week! There’s no penalty to dropping either – if you want to sign up, get some product at a discount and then drop, that’s fine. You can even sign up again later with no penalty.

If you have any questions, just contact me. If you’re ready to sign up, grab your wish list, click here and get ready for loads of fun and new friendships. You won’t regret it.

I wasn’t planning to post today, but when I realised that there’s less than 3 weeks remaining, I felt the need to remind you about the amazing starter kit offer.

Since I’m struggling to keep up with posting, I’m going to officially reduce my posting schedule. It’s easy to not post if I haven’t in a few days, so I’m going to change to Monday, Wednesday, Friday and one day on the weekend and get that consistent. The good news is that I’m now back to working full time, but I can’t imagine that I have the energy yet to post every day.

See you on Monday,

Beautiful You and Brusho

As I mentioned previously, it’s rather addictive making cards using the Brusho crystals, finding different effects. Here’s a happy background that really seemed to suit the dancing lady from Beautiful You. Is she dancing or is this yoga? I’m not really sure. Either way, it seems a happy card for a birthday.

I put a piece of watercolor paper onto cling film and sprinkled prussian blue brusho crystals at one end of it and then yellow on the rest of the card. Holding up the cling film to catch the splatters, I sprayed from the bottom rather than down onto the paper. This gave quite a different effect and made the colors blend differently. And the cling film did get fairly splatters so I’d recommend that! I love how there are so many colors on the card even though I only used two.

Once it was thoroughly dry, I added the happy lady using archival black and added a black mat and a dapper denim card base. It’s rather fun choosing card bases because you never can be sure what will look best before you produce the background. It all depends on your mix of crystals. I recommend gently wiping the background with a paper towel to remove any excess powder and to prevent your recipient getting stained fingers!

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.

Addicted to Brusho!

I’m definitely having trouble using anything but the Brusho watercolor crystals at the moment. I had a class on Sunday where we played with Brusho all afternoon and I haven’t stopped since. There are so many things to do with the crystals – at $30 they seem expensive but they will last forever and you can make any colour you want.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Brusho - Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies

I wanted to make a card for a friend who is planning on taking advantage of the best deal – the starter kit. That’s $125 worth of product for $99 plus tax, free shipping plus two free stamp sets – and then as long as you’re a current member, you get 20% discount. To stay current, you need to buy /sell $300 per quarter which with the discount is $240 or less than $20 per week. A no brainer. So I figured a congratulations card was in order.

I sprinkled the red and prussian blue crystals onto a piece of cling film and then activated them by spritzing with water. Next I pressed a piece of watercolor paper onto the cling film and then turned it over (be careful, the color is intense and can stain) and pulled and pushed the cling film into wrinkled patterns. After I’d left it to dry, I removed the cling film to find this fabulous background. All it needed was a wisteria wonder mat and then a black card base. I added a congrats from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits dies (first adhering some multipurpose adhesive sheet) in black and I love how the card looks.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.

Brusho

I spent some time this evening playing with the brusho watercolor crystals – it’s such fun. Actually I was having so much fun that I made a bunch of partial cards and didn’t finish any of them! There’s always tomorrow. I wanted to share with you the official Stampin’ Up! video showcasing how to use the Brusho crystals.

They are $30 for the pack of 5 but they will last forever!
