Sweet Citrus bundle

As you know, I was focused on the Sweet Citrus bundle last week and here’s the third card which I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Sweet Citrus bundle - Sweet Citrus - Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder

I used five colours: Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Rich Razzleberry. Using my stamparatus I stamped the outline of the fruits full strength and then added the interior after stamping off once.  Next I added the die to the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and cut out four different pieces of fruit in each colour in one go. So these were actually “leftovers” from the previous card (and I still have others)

This time I chose the whole fruit and arranged them in a row, popping up a couple with dimensionals. The white layer was then added to a Flirty Flamingo card base. The sentiment from the Sweet Citrus set was stamped onto a piece of scrap in Flirty Flamingo and then trimmed as much as possible. This meant that more of the fruit was showing and not hidden behind the sentiment.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live yesterday at 11am. You can see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Sweet Citrus bundle

This week I’m using the Sweet Citrus bundle which includes a hybrid embossing folder. This is really brilliant – you can cut and emboss at the same time. I was inspired by my friend in the UK, Kylie Henshaw at Hello Crafter – I love her clean style. It wasn’t until I saw her video that I realised what the hybrid embossing folder could do for me. She did warn me that it’s addictive and she’s totally right!

I chose the fruit slices and piled them up, popping up a couple with dimensionals onto a white layer. The sentiment from the Sweet Citrus set was stamped onto the layer in Flirty Flamingo and then added to a card base of the same colour.

To finish the card, I added some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels and then some Wink of Stella to make the slices look more juicy.

What will I do with the other pieces of fruit?!

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am.

Here I’m just using the embossing folder.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Sweet Citrus bundle - Sweet Citrus - Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder - Layering Circles Framelits Dies

A piece of Granny Apple Green was embossed with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Next it was layered onto a white card base.

The sentiment, from the Sweet Citrus set, was stamped in Granny Apple Green. It was cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. A matching scalloped circle was used for the mat in Granny Apple Green and added to the white circle. This was added to the layer with dimensionals.

Finally some Elegant faceted gems were added to the card.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

See you on Friday,

Eden’s Garden

This week I’m using the Eden’s Garden set. This time I decided to make my own DSP.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Eden's Garden - Stitched Rectangle Dies

The images were stamped with Evening Evergreen, Parakeet Party and Orchid Oasis onto a white layer which was cut to 5 1/2 by 3 3/4.  This was added to a Orchid Oasis layer measuring 5 1/2 by 3 7/8. I find the stamparatus is handy here to help with lining up the card layers. This was then mounted onto a white card base.

The sentiment, from Eden’s Garden, was stamped in  Orchid Oasis and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. This was added to the layer with dimensionals.

Finally some Matte Decorative dots were added to the card.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live this morning. You can see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Eden’s Garden

This week I’m using the Eden’s Garden set. And I liked Soft Succulent with Fresh Freesia so much that I did it yet again but this time I used Very Vanilla as the layer.
