Sweet Citrus bundle

This week I’m using the Sweet Citrus bundle which includes a hybrid embossing folder. This is really brilliant – you can cut and emboss at the same time. I was inspired by my friend in the UK, Kylie Henshaw at Hello Crafter – I love her clean style. It wasn’t until I saw her video that I realised what the hybrid embossing folder could do for me. She did warn me that it’s addictive and she’s totally right!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Sweet Citrus bundle - Sweet Citrus - Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder

I used five colours: Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Rich Razzleberry. Using my stamparatus I stamped the outline of the fruits full strength and then added the interior after stamping off once.  Next I added the die to the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and cut out four different pieces of fruit in each colour in one go.

I chose the fruit slices and piled them up, popping up a couple with dimensionals onto a white layer. The sentiment from the Sweet Citrus set was stamped onto the layer in Flirty Flamingo and then added to a card base of the same colour.

To finish the card, I added some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels and then some Wink of Stella to make the slices look more juicy.

What will I do with the other pieces of fruit?!

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
