Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is now available to order. My order is already on its way to me!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Stitched Rectangle dies

This is a good card to make in multiples; the 2 sheets with this pattern will allow you to make a dozen quite quickly and with the foil in the pattern, you don’t need to add any other embellishments.

The piece of DSP is layered onto a Mint Macaron mat and then onto a Whisper White card base. Next the sentiment from Whimsical Trees was stamped in Mint Macaron and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. It was then popped up with dimensionals and that’s it!

I’ll be making this card and 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Whimsy & Wonder DSP

This week I’m using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which is estimated to be available to order this week.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsy & Wonder DSP - Layering Circles Framelits dies

Here I used a Misty Moonlight card base and a piece of the almost self colored Misty Moonlight Whimsy & Wonder DSP. I then layered an iridescent foil Wonderful Snowflake (also from the Whimsy & Wonder suite) onto the DSP.  You get 24 snowflakes for only $6 (156340) – that’s a nice pile of easy cards. Finally I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and cut it out with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.

I’ll be making this card on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT – join me then. If you share my Live I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Whimsical Trees bundle

Here’s the third card this week using the Whimsical Trees bundle which I demonstrated this morning along with the 2 from earlier in the week.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsical Trees bundle - Whimsical Trees stamp set - Christmas Trees Dies

This card also uses the sentiment from Evergreen Elegance – I needed a large sentiment. The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen and matted in Real Red. I placed the matted sentiment where I wanted it to go, moved it up a little and then drew a line using the sentiment as a guide. The ornaments were stamped in Real Red and then die cut; the die cuts out all 3 at once. These die cuts were then glued in place using multipurpose liquid glue ensuring that the strings crossed the line so that they would appear to be attached to the matted sentiment which was popped up with dimensionals.

The ornaments were given a little touch of wink of Stella and then I added basic rhinestones colored using the dark Evening Evergreen blend.

Whimsical Trees bundle

This week I’m using the Whimsical Trees bundle which consists of the Whimsical Trees stamp set and the Christmas Trees dies. For this card, I used only the Christmas Trees dies.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Whimsical Trees bundle - Christmas Trees Dies

This card only uses the Christmas Trees dies. The tree shape was die cut in Mossy Meadow with the tinsel in gold foil. Then I die cut the little ornaments (8 in one die) in Real Red. I layered the tree onto a Very Vanilla layer and then added the gold foil and the little ornaments using the multipurpose glue. Finally I mounted the layer onto a Mossy Meadow card base.

I’ll be demonstrating this card and 2 others on Sunday at 11am on my Facebook Live. Do join me. Share my live and get in the raffle to win a card and a little something else too.
