This week’s product is the rather gorgeous Peaceful Place Specialty DSP (156394, $15). It’s a specialty paper due to all the silver foil. It’s quite spectacular and I had a hard time selecting which 3 patterns to showcase this week.
This is a very simple card to make – the DSP is cut to 5 by 3 3/4 inches and the silver foil to 5 1/8 by 3 7/8 inches. Next stamp the sentiment in Evening Evergreen – if there is any issue, you can always restamp, die cut and put it over the top. After that add the DSP to the silver foil mat and that to a white card base. And that’s all she wrote. You can make a dozen of these fairly swiftly if you get in a crunch with Christmas cards.

I did the same thing except I used Smoky Slate for card stock behind the DSP and Real Red for the sentiment, then added a red rhinestone by the M in Merry, also my sentiment was smaller and offset.
Sounds really good. I’m still trying to push myself to use more grey – I’m not fond of it!
