Beautiful You Watercoloring

Here’s a thinking about you kind of card using the Beautiful You set and just a single colour – mint macaron

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Beautiful You

I stamped the image using archival basic black ink on watercolor paper and, after giving it time to really dry, used an aquapainter and ink from the lid of my mint macaron ink pad to colour in the girl and her umbrella. Another of the awesome mixed typeface sentiments and then it was a simple matter of construction. I trimmed the watercolour paper so that I could have a basic black skinny mat and still have a 1/4 inch of the mint macaron card base showing – I need to play with different borders more, it’s fun how they change the look of the card. I used some of the mint macaron patterned paper from the Subtles DSP stack to line the envelope flap.
