Collection of trees from Most Wonderful Time Product Medley

As you know, this week I’m focusing on the marvellous Most Wonderful Time Product Medley (150705, $70) which gives you loads of things to play with. See the list of the contents on Wednesday’s post below. After I made the cute little tree I showed you on Friday, I got a little carried away and made a quartet of DSP trees.

This used a larger stitched triangle die to cut out the trees. Again the tree trunk is from the Tree Angle stamp set, stamped in soft suede. For the coloured card bases, I stamped it on whisper white and cut it out. The sentiments were all from the medley and embossed in gold. Finally I added the gold faceted stars which were included in the kit and ribbon.

Similarly to Friday’s card, you can make these quite rapidly.

I’ll be demonstrating some cards made with this product medley on my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Although there are loads of products in the medley, I wanted to focus on the DSP and so brought in the Stitched Triangle Dies to create a tree. The tree trunk is from the Tree Angle photopolymer set which coordinates with the stitched triangles dies.

The DSP tree is popped up with dimensionals and then topped with a champagne rhinestone. The sentiment, stamped in real red on a Whisper White card base, comes from the Most Wonderful Time Product medley. You can easily whip up a dozen in a very short time.

I’ll be demonstrating some cards made with this product medley on my Facebook live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Tree Angle

This week I’m focusing on the stamp set Tree Angle. It’s a 15 piece photopolymer set for only $17 (153442). I also found that it coordinates with the Stitched Triangle dies although I didn’t use them on this card.

I started by stamping the greeting in versamark and sprinkled on gold embossing powder. Before heating it, I stamped the ornaments in poppy parade so that I wouldn’t get poppy parade on top of the gold which would then smear onto the card. Yes, that’s what happened to the first sample! After heating the powder, I adhered the beautiful ribbon from All The Trimmings across the card. The ribbon is a two pack combo featuring poppy parade and old olive with gold edges. Next it was glued onto some gold foil and then mounted onto the piece of poppy parade that I’d run through the Winter Snow embossing folder. Finally I added this all to a poppy parade card base.

This is one of the cards that I showed on my Facebook live earlier this morning.

Tree Angle

This week I’m focusing on the stamp set Tree Angle. It’s a 15 piece photopolymer set for only $17 (153442) and makes Christmas card making simple and fun. After I found that the Stitched Triangle dies coordinate with this set, I made a number of trees and die cut them so I had a selection to play with. The coordination with the die set makes it really good value – as long as you also buy the Right Triangle bundle as well.

This tree is a 2 step stamp – the outline and dotted lines were stamped first in shaded spruce. After that, the stars were heated embossed in gold although they don’t seem to twinkle in the photo. As before, the trunk was stamped in early espresso.

The sentiment comes from the Tree Angle set and is heat embossed in gold onto a very vanilla card base. I’d advise doing the heat embossing on the card base before attaching the top layer matted in shaded spruce. Just in case!

This is another of the cards that I’ll be showing on my Facebook live next Sunday at 11am EST.

Tree Angle

This week I’m focusing on the stamp set Tree Angle. It’s a 15 piece photopolymer set for only $17 (153442) and to my delight I discovered that it does indeed coordinate with the Stitched Triangle dies. It looked like it might, and it does.

So I stamped some of the trees using real red and shaded spruce and then cut them out using the stitched triangle dies. I love the poinsettia one, it’s just too Christmassy for words! Perhaps it was my delight with this little tree which led me to adding a bow to it. The beautiful red ribbon with gold edges is from the All the Trimmings Combo ribbon pack where it’s paired with an old olive version (153541, $8). Early Espresso was used for the trunks.

The sentiment comes from the Tree Angle set and is stamped in shaded spruce. The whole very vanilla layer was glued to a shaded spruce card base and gilded gems adorn the top of the trees.

This is one of the cards that I’ll be showing on my Facebook live next Sunday at 11am EST.
