Softly Sketched

Here’s the third card using the distinktive set Softly Sketched. The gems aren’t really blue, they are the iridescent rhinestones so it’s just the way the camera caught them.

I used Pebbled Path to stamp the main image and then grabbed my watercolor pencils. I used melon mambo, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie and old olive. And of course, some clear Wink of Stella. The sentiment from Softly Sketched was stamped in more Pebbled Path.

The white layer was matted with some Pebbled Path and mounted on a Daffodil Delight card base. Finally some iridescent rhinestones basic jewels were added.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live later on today at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Softly Sketched

This week I’m using the distinktive set Softly Sketched. People that know me are aware that I really don’t like grey. Pebbled Path is one of the 2023-2025 in colors and it’s grey! But I decided to challenge myself and see what I could do with it.

I decided on Pebbled Path plus a pop of colour, courtesy of the 2023-2025 in color dots. These are Moody Mauve in case you’re unsure.

I stamped the sentiment first onto a piece of white measuring 5 by 3 3/4 inches and then followed with the image. The other part of the sentiment, “how amazing you really are” is stamped inside. There are a number of phrases in this stamp set that will fit. This was matted with a piece of Pebbled Path and then placed on a white card base.

Finally, as mentioned earlier, I added a few of the 2023-2025 in color dots.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

Softly Sketched

This week I’m using the distinktive set Softly Sketched.

I used Mossy Meadow and Moody Mauve markers and coloured the stamp. After huffing on it to moisten the ink, I stamped onto a piece of white.

Next I stamped the sentiment, from Softly Sketched, in Mossy Meadow. Next I matted with Moody Mauve and layered it onto a white cardbase. I used clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle and to make the grapes look fresh and dewy.

Finally I added a few of the Tinsel Gems from the four pack.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.
