Snowflake Wishes bundle

This week, I’m back to Christmas cards and I’m using Snowflake Wishes bundle which includes the So Many Snowflakes dies. Although they go together and were a bundle, sadly the 10% discount for buying them together has gone.

Using one of the So Many Snowflake dies, I cut the middle out of a rectangle piece of silver foil. After a little poking out the tiny pieces, I was left with this beautiful stitched frame. I love silver and Misty Moonlight together so the choice of card base was easy. I held the silver frame over the card base for positioning purposes and then stamped the sentiment in versamark. Next was the sprinkling of silver embossing powder and heating until it melted. Watching the powder turn from mat to raised and shiny is so joyous.

Finally the frame was adhered to the card base along with a few basic rhinestones.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 using the Snowflake Wishes bundle others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. Come and join me.

Snowflake Wishes bundle

This week, I’m back to Christmas cards and I’m using Snowflake Wishes bundle which includes the So Many Snowflakes dies. Although they go together and were a bundle, sadly the 10% discount for buying them together has gone. I’m also using the Rainbow Glimmer paper on today’s card too.

Using one of the So Many Snowflake dies, I cut out a number from the Rainbow Glimmer paper. Whilst doing that I cut out a number using different dies which may feature later in the week. The snowflakes were added to the right hand side of the whisper white layer. The sentiment was then stamped in Blackberry Bliss which is one of the colors in the glimmer paper. After that the layer was added to a Blackberry Bliss card base.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST. Come and join me.

Snowflake Wishes bundle

Today I finished the week where I was showing the Snowflake Wishes bundle ($55.75, 155172). The bundle consists of the 17 piece photopolymer stamp set Snowflake Wishes and the 8 dies in the So Many Snowflakes. Ordering the bundle gets you a 10% discount over buying them separately.

You need to start this card a few hours before you want to finish it since it needs drying time. Take a piece of watercolor card and spritz it with water. Next tap the Misty Moonlight stamp pad onto the Winter Snow Embossing folder and then spritz lightly. Put the wet piece of watercolour paper into the embossing folder and run it through the embossing machine. Leave to dry.

Mount the watercolor paper onto silver foil and cut out a snowflake using the So Many Snowflakes dies. Wrap a piece of Snowflake Splendor ribbon around the panel before gluing it to a Misty Moonlight card base. Stamp the sentiment in versamark and sprinkle the embossing powder and then heat. Cut this out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and fix it to the card with dimensionals. Using a little multipurpose liquid glue, adhere the silver foil snowflake to the sentiment oval.

I demonstrated all of the three cards this week on my FaceBook live this morning at 11am. It’s also on You Tube if you’d like to see the details in person.

Snowflake Wishes bundle

This week I’m going to showcase the Snowflake Wishes bundle ($55.75, 155172) which consists of the 17 piece photopolymer stamp set Snowflake Wishes and the 8 dies in the So Many Snowflakes. Ordering the bundle gets you a 10% discount over buying them separately.

This is another simple and easy to reproduce in multiples. I took a layer of Misty Moonlight and cut out the snowflake using the largest of the So Many Snowflakes dies. Then I did the sentiment, embossing with silver embossing powder. Next a piece of silver foil was adhered to the back of the layer and then it was attached to a Misty Moonlight card base. It’s really easy to have a mini production line to make a number of these cards.
