Queen Anne’s Lace

Here’s the third card this week using the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set. I’ll be doing a Facebook Live today, Sunday at 11am EST as usual to demonstrate the three cards.

Here I used Pacific Point for my cardstock and heat embossed the stamps in silver, including the sentiment. I added a silver foil mat and left a large border of the pacific point. To create the banner, I used the triple banner punch and then popped it up with dimensionals.

If you place an retail order with me of over $25, using the host code, I’ll send you 5 handmade cards, possibly including one made with Queen Anne’s Lace.

Queen Anne’s Lace

This week I’m showing you cards using the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set and this one uses one of the stamps in an unexpected way.

I used the stamp that is intended for adding the blossoms to the Queen Anne’s Lace and made a background using just jade, shaded spruce and pretty peacock. I wrapped a piece of the just jade in-color ribbon around the whisper white layer before adhering it to a just jade card base. Then I added a bow and attached it with a glue dot. What stamps have you used in an unexpected way?

Queen Anne’s Lace

This week I’m showing you cards using the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set. My apologies for being a day late, but the storms caused me to be without power or even cell phone coverage for 32 hours. Not a problem apart from my blog since I’d had to hurriedly change this week’s set since my originally planned choice is on backorder.

I stamped the stems in pear pizzazz and then heat embossed the flowers in white. It’s fairly subtle but I really like how it came out. I matted with pear pizzazz and used the same colour for the sentiment which also comes from the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set. I then layered that onto a thick whisper white card base. As I often do, I die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and popped it up with dimensionals.
