2020-2022 Incolors – Just Jade

As you know, the new 2020-2022 incolors are now available.  As I mentioned previously, I attended Ronda Wade’s Leadership event last month and one of the make and takes was to make 5 cards using the new incolors so I decided to share them all with you. Today is the third of the five, Just Jade.

This is my favourite type of card – clean and simple. There is a piece of the new incolor DSP with the whisper white stitched so sweetly cut layer on top. The flower is punched out twice in Just Jade using the Perennial Flower punch. The leaves are in pear pizzazz from the Timeless Tulips set. To show more of the products we added a Just Jade bow and some of the enamel dots. I really like how Ronda used a variety of punches for the flowers.

There’s an amazing deal to become a member of my team. As usual for $99 you can select $125 of product with free shipping but you also get to choose a stamp/tool bundle absolutely free on top. It’s incredible value – if you picked the most expensive bundle, Christmas Rose, that’s an extra $61 for free, so a total of $186 of product of your choice for $99. Not to mention the $18.60 that you save on shipping and the free Paper Pumpkin valued at $22. Are you keeping count? That’s over $226 in value for $99. It’s a no brainer.

Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards

I wanted to do something a little different with the Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards so I decided to add a frame using the Stitched Rectangles dies (148551) out of very vanilla card stock

This makes it a lot simpler to add the petal pink piece of cardstock to the inside of the card base since you have a larger margin. Next I cut a banner slightly under 1 inch wide and embossed it in gold with a sentiment from the Here’s a Card stamp set (149438). I used the triple banner punch to make the flag on the banner and added it to the card leaving space on the right hand side.

For the decoration, I used the Perennial Essence Vellum cardstock (149101) to cut out petals using the Perennial Flower punch (149522) and the Leaf punch (144667) and a gold Faceted Gem (144141). In general, I don’t use much vellum, but I love it here.

Let me know what you think – both on the card and your use of vellum.
