Beside Me

Here’s my third card using the Beside Me set.

I stamped the image in Versamark on Copper Clay and then heat embossed it in gold. This was matted with gold foil. Using this piece to help with placement, I next stamped the sentiment in versamark and also heat embossed it in gold.

The layer was added to a Copper Clay card base. Finally a few 2023-2025 in color dots were added.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live this morning. You can watch  the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Beside Me

This week I’m using the Beside Me set since it’s all about celebrating Father’s Day.

The Orchid Oasis was cut to 3 /2 by 4 inches. Next I stamped the two images and sentiment in versamark and then heat embossed in white.  This was then matted on white 1/8 inch larger in both directions. Next it was put on an Orchid Oasis card base allowing a small border of Orchid Oasis to show. Finally I added some In color matte decorative dots.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live tomorrow at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Beside Me

This week I’m using the Beside Me set since it’s all about celebrating fathers. I am sorry that this is late, but I’m still struggling to learn how much I can do without wiping myself out. I seem to always be overly optimistic!

I stamped the image in Smoky Slates and then started using watercolor pencils. I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Basic Black for the hair, then Night of Navy for all the trousers. The shirts was Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana and Real Red. The dock was Early Espresso and the water was Balmy Blue. I used a tiny bit of Flirty Flamingo to skin to remove the white pasty look. Next the blender pen smoothed out the lines and moved the color around a little.

This was matted with Night of Navy and added to a white cardbase. Finally the sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and cut out using the Stylish Shapes dies.

I will be making this card, along with 2 others using this paper at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am. You can watch live, see the replay or check it out on YouTube.

When you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
