Awesome Otters

This week the set I’m using is the Sale-a-bration $50 freebie Awesome Otters. I’m also adding in some Simply Marbleous DSP since it’s so great. I also brought in the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set because I love the vertical sentiment.

A 4 by 4 1/4″ piece of the Simply Marbleous DSP was attached to a Balmy Blue mat. Next the sentiment, from Celebrate with Flowers, was stamped in Balmy Blue. Then the matted DSP was attached to the Whisper White card base.

The main image was stamped in Sahara Sand and colored with Early Espresso, Flirty Flamingo and Balmy Blue water color pencils. A blender pen smoothed out the lines. Wink of Stella was added to the Balmy Blue to give the water some depth.

The Whisper White layer was matted in Balmy Blue and glued to the card base. Finally a trio of the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Gems were added.

I demonstrated this card along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live earlier today.

Awesome Otters

Apologies for being a day late; a covid booster on top of being sick last week took out all my preprepared cards.

This week the set I’m using is the Sale-a-bration $50 freebie Awesome Otters. I’m also adding in some Simply Marbleous DSP since it’s so great. Although Mint Macaron isn’t mentioned in the colors it goes really well with the paper as you can see here.

A 2′ deep piece of the Simply Marbleous DSP was attached to a Mint Macaron card base. Next the sentiment, from Awesome Otters, was stamped in Early Espresso. Then the image was stamped in Sahara Sand and colored with Early Espresso and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Write marker. A blender pen smoothed out the lines.

The Whisper White layer was matted in Early Espresso and added to the card base using dimensionals. Finally a Gilded Gem was added as the bobble on top of his party hat.

I’ll be demonstrating this card along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST.

Awesome Otters

As usual, a nice simple and clean card. A piece of the Simply Marbleous DSP was attached to a Balmy Blue card base. Then the image was stamped in Sahara Sand and colored with Early Espresso and Balmy Blue watercolor pencils. A blender pen removed  the lines on the otter and Wink of Stella did the same for the water including adding a little sparkle.

The Whisper White layer was matted in Balmy Blue and the sentiment from Awesome Otters was stamped in the same color. This layer was added to the card base using dimensionals

I’ll be demonstrating this card along with 2 others using this set on my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EST.
