Beauty of Friendship

This week I’m using the Beauty of Friendship set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship - Frosted Flurry Dies

The tree trunk was stamped Early Espresso at different heights. The foliage is a distinktive stamp, meaning that you get a lot of extra detail. This was stamped in Shaded Spruce – just one stamp and you get all this detail, it’s brilliant. The white layer was added to a Shaded Spruce card base.

Finally the sentiment, also from Beauty of Friendship, was stamped in Early Espresso on Shaded Spruce. It was die cut using the Frosted Flurry dies and attached with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Plentiful Plants

The product of the week is the 15 piece photopolymer set, Plentiful Plants (155693, $21). I love the Distinktive stamps, just beautiful.

I decided to just use the pots on this card along with the Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet inks.

The pots were stamped up one side of the white layer. Next the sentiment, from the Plentiful Plants set, was stamped in Starry Sky. The white layer was then added to a Starry Sky card base.

Finally I added some of the 2022-2024 in color Matte Decorative dots. As you may notice, I am back to the dots matching. I feel much more comfortable now!

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others using this stamp set on Sunday at my Facebook Live. It is held at 11am east coast and the video is uploaded to YouTube too. If you share my live, I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Plentiful Plants

The product of the week is the 15 piece photopolymer set, Plentiful Plants (155693, $21). There are matching dies but I’m just using the stamp set – there’s plenty to use and they are so detailed!

I used a couple of my current favourite colors – Evening Evergreen and Orchid Oasis.  The plant and leaves were stamped on a piece of white card and matted in Orchid Oasis. This was then added to a white card base and the sentiment, from the same set, was stamped in more Orchid Oasis.

Finally I added some of the 2022-2024 in color Matte Decorative dots. I rather like this color combination, I’ll be using it again.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others using this stamp set on Sunday at my Facebook Live. It is held at 11am east coast and the video is uploaded to YouTube too. If you share my live, I’ll add you to the following week’s raffle.

Wonderful World DSP

This week I’m focusing on the Saleabration Wonderful World DSP. This paper is paired with a stamp set of the same name and is free with an order of $100. Last week I focused on the stamp set, this week it’s the paper.

As with the last card, I felt that an entire layer of this pattern of Wonderful World DSP would be too much. So I cut just enough to show how pretty it is without it being overkill. It was then matted with Pear Pizzazz.

Before adding the matted layer directly to the card, I added the sentiment from Peaceful Moments in Pear Pizzazz.

I’ll be making this card along with two others using the set at my Facebook Live today at 11am Eastern. The video will also be uploaded to YouTube.

Wonderful World

Here is my third card using the Sale-a-bration set, Wonderful World. This set is paired with a pack of designer paper and is free with an order of $100.

I used Stampin’ Write markers again but this time it was Sweet Sorbet and Mossy Meadow. After huffing on the stamp, I stamped on a piece of white and added some sparkle with Wink of Stella. Then it was matted it with Mossy Meadow and added to a Whisper White card base. The sentiment comes from one of my favourite sentiment sets, Peaceful Moments.

I made this card along with two others using the set at my Facebook Live yesterday. The video is available on Facebook and YouTube.
