Soft Seedlings

This week my product is the 6 piece cling Distinktive stamp set Soft Seedlings (159905, $20). I’m also using a couple of new embellishments. Sorry this is late, I had a few issues with WordPress and then a doctor’s appointment and a nap got in the way!

Look at how gorgeous the Distinktive stamp is – this was stamped just in Pear Pizzazz and look at all the detail! The stamped image is matted in Pear Pizzazz and put on a white card base.

The sentiment, from Soft Seedlings, is also stamped in Pear Pizzazz. I really like the typeface. Finally I added some of the Mossy Meadow Solid Faceted gems. They’d only just arrived and I couldn’t resist!

I’ll be demonstrating this card plus two others made with Soft Seedlings at my live on Sunday at 11am EST. Do join me. When you place an order with me of at least $25, I’ll send you the card precut for you to make these cards. Also if you share the live, I’ll add you to the next week’s raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube.

Nature’s Prints

This week I’m using the Sun Prints collection; today it’s the Nature’s Prints stamp set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Nature's Prints

First I used a number of stamps and stamped on a piece of Starry Sky in versamark. Then I sprinkled on white embossing powder and heated it. This was then matted with white before being added to a Starry Sky card base.

For the sentiment, I stamped in more Starry Sky onto white and die cut it using the Layering Circles Framelits dies. I also cut out the matching scalloped circle in Starry Sky and glued them together.

I frayed the ends of a piece of white frayed ribbon and added it to the card with the sentiment added with dimensionals on top. Finally I added some Opal Rounds.

I’ll be making this card and two others using the Sun Prints collection on my Facebook Live at 11am eastern today. Please join me and if you share the live, I’ll add you to my weekly raffle. I also upload the video to YouTube if you prefer that medium.

Rings of Love DSP

This week’s product is the free Saleabration paper, Rings of Love. The paper is really pretty and very versatile.

This pattern of the Rings of Love DSP was cut to 2 by 5 1/2 inches. It’s matted with some of my last fragments of Evening Evergreen (more has now been ordered!) It was then layered onto a white card base.

Finally the sentiment, from Artistically Inked, was stamped in Evening Evergreen.

I’ll be making this card plus two others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern.  I’ll also upload the video to YouTube. If you share my live, I’ll add you to next week’s raffle.

Wonderful World DSP

This week I’m focusing on the Saleabration Wonderful World DSP. This paper is paired with a stamp set of the same name and is free with an order of $100. Last week I focused on the stamp set, this week it’s the paper.

One of the patterns is rows and rows of flowers so I decided to cut out a trio and mat it with Mossy Meadow. You could make twelve of this design using just a single sheet.

Before attaching the matted layer to the white card base, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow. It’s from the Wonderful World set. I do it this way to give me greater leeway in case of an error. It also keeps the layer away from the ink.

I’ll be making this card along with two others using the set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am Eastern. The video will also be uploaded to YouTube.

Simply Fabulous

This week I’m using Simply Fabulous, a 24 piece photopolymer set (159133, $18). Today I managed to use 4 of the 24 stamps – a flower, leaves and two sentiments.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Simply Fabulous

The leaf stamp was stamped in Parakeet Party and then the flower was added in Sweet Sorbet. This was matted in Sweet Sorbet.

The sentiment was stamped in Sweet Sorbet and then the image was added using dimensionals.

Finally the flower was brushed with Wink of Stella and an iridescent basic rhinestone jewel was added to the centre of the flower.

I’ll be making this card and two others on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to the weekly raffle.
