Thanks a Bunch

Finally – the carrots! The set is called Thanks a Bunch and it’s from the Saleabration brochure at the $50 level. Don’t forget that Saleabration ends at the end of the month.

A piece of Granny Apple Green was cut to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and then embossed using the Fern 3D folder. This was layered onto a Granny Apple Green card base.

Next, the main image was stamped in Pale Papaya and Mango Melody with Granny Apple Green for the greenery. This was matted in Mango Melody and added to the card. The sentiment, from the Thanks a Bunch set, was stamped in Mango Melody and die cut with the Layering Circles. A scalloped piece of Mango Melody was cut out again using the layering circles. These were layered together and added to the card with dimensionals. Finally a few rhinestone basic jewels were coloured using the dark Mango Melody blends and added to the card.

Country Floral Lane DSP

Here’s the third card using Country Floral Lane DSP.

I cut the Country Floral Lane DSP pattern to 2 1/8 by 3 1/8 with the Balmy Blue mat being an 1/8 inch larger. I layered the patterned paper onto the mat and then used it to position the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Inspired Thoughts set and was stamped in Balmy Blue. The layered piece was then added to the white cardbase. A few solid faceted gems were added to finish it off.

Country Floral Lane DSP

Here’s the second card using Country Floral Lane DSP.

I cut out two columns of the hearts which ended up being around 2 1/8 inch. The Sweet Sorbet mat was 1/8 inch larger. Using the stamparatus, I layered these together and then added it to a white cardbase. The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts set and and was stamped in Sweet Sorbet. It was then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added directly to the card. A few in color matte decorative dots were added to finish it off.

No, this still isn’t the carrots, but I realised we needed hearts and flowers this week! So here’s Country Floral Lane DSP. Sorry for the delay but I was having technical difficulties.

The Country Floral Lane DSP was cut to 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches and added to a Sweet Sorbet card base. The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts set and and was stamped in Sweet Sorbet. It was then cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card with dimensionals.

Regency Park DSP

Here’s the third card using the Regency Park DSP and adding to my collection of birthday cards.

The Regency Park DSP was cut to 4 by 4 1/4 with the Night of Navy mat cut to 4 1/2 by 4 1/4. Next they were layered together using the Stamparatus to help to line them up. This layer was then added to a Balmy Blue card base.

The sentiment is again from Happiness Abounds was stamped in Night of Navy. After cutting it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies it was added directly to the card. A few embellishments were added to the card. I used Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels but they aren’t available now – use them if you have them. Otherwise a Night of Navy blend on a Rhinestone Basic Jewel would work perfectly.
