Handsomely Suited bundle

The Handsomely Suited bundle is a lot of fun to play with. It consists of the Handsomely Suited stamp set (154444, $21) and the Suit & Tie dies (154322, $32) but you’re best off buying it as a bundle and getting a discount (156240, $47.50). Or even buy the suite (155983, $66) which consists of the discounted bundle, a twine combo pack and the Well Suited DSP. You’re going to need the DSP!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Handsomely Suited - Suit & Ties Dies

Here I stamped the bow tie in momento tuxedo black and then die cut it using the Suit & Tie dies. I used one of the sentiments from the Handsomely Suite stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy on white cardstock, matting in more Night of Navy. The background is a 2 inch strip of the same Well Suited DSP on a Nice of Navy card base. Thinking about it, I’m not sure why I stamped the bow tie in black – I think I’ll use Night of Navy next time.

I’ll be showing you how to make this card on Sunday at 11am EDT at my live. Come and join me.

Incolors – Evening Evergreen

So we come to the last incolor – Evening Evergreen and I think I was right yesterday. I think this is my favourite color – until I use the others of course!.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Love of Leaves bundle - Incolors - Evening Evergreen

Evening Evergreen is such a deep, rich color. It’s going to be great at Christmas and for masculine cards – although I’d be perfectly happy to receive a card in this color.

The Stitched Leaves dies were used to cut out the leaf shape in Evening Evergreen and was then matted it on Very Vanilla. The shape was just wide enough to allow the hello to be stamped. A 2 inch deep strip of the 2021-2023 incolor 6 by 6 paper was added to the Evening Evergreen card base and then the matted piece was added on top. The new open weave 3/8 inch ribbon is really beautiful in all the colors; it was added with a glue dot and then a few of the 2021-2023 in color jewels were added.

Join me later on my Facebook Live at 11am EDT and see in person how I made these cards. Who knows, I might remember to put the DSP strip on all 5 cards!

See you on Wednesday,

Incolors – Fresh Freesia

Here’s the fourth incolor – Fresh Freesia; in case you’re wondering, it’s reverse alphabetic order! Evening Evergreen tomorrow.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Love of Leaves bundle - Incolors - Fresh Freesia

This little leaf seemed perfect for this delicate incolor – Fresh Freesia.

As on the cards already shown this week, I used the Stitched Leaves dies to cut out the leaf shape and then matted it on Very Vanilla. I carefully stamped the sentiment which comes from Love of Leaves in Fresh Freesia. A 2 inch deep strip of the 2021-2023 incolor 6 by 6 paper was added to the Fresh Freesia card base and then the matted piece was added on top. The new open weave 3/8 inch ribbon is really beautiful in all the colors; it was added with a glue dot and then a few of the 2021-2023 in color jewels were added.

I’m really happy with all the new incolors; today I think Fresh Freesia is my favourite but tomorrow that will probably change to Evening Evergreen. I think it will be like opera – my favourite is usually the one I’ve just seen!

Join me tomorrow on my Facebook Live at 11am EDT and see in person how I made these cards. Who knows, I might remember to put the DSP strip on all 5 cards!

Incolors – Pale Papaya

Here’s the third incolor – Pale Papaya; in case you’re wondering, it’s reverse alphabetic order!

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Love of Leaves bundle - Incolors - Pale Papaya

I really love this leaf – I don’t know what it is, but the shape is so card friendly! As on previous cards, I used the Stitched Leaves dies to cut out the leaf shape and then matted it on Very Vanilla. Next I stamped the sentiment which comes from Love of Leaves in Pale Papaya. A 2 inch deep strip of the 2021-2023 incolor 6 by 6 paper should have been added to the Pale Papaya card base but I forgot it! So the matted piece was added to the card base. The new open weave 3/8 inch ribbon is really beautiful in all the colors; it was added with a glue dot and then a few of the 2021-2023 in color jewels were added.

See you tomorrow,

Incolors – Polished Pink

Here’s the second incolor – Polished Pink; I made the same card as yesterday but with a different leaf die cut.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Love of Leaves bundle - Incolors - Polished Pink

As before, I used the Stitched Leaves dies to cut out the leaf shape and then matted it on Very Vanilla. After matting it, I added the stamped sentiment which comes from Love of Leaves. Normally I’d do stamping before I glue layers together, just in case but I wanted to ensure it was positioned correctly. A strip of the 2021-2023 incolor 6 by 6 paper was added to the Polished Pink card base and then the matted piece was added on top. The new open weave 3/8 inch ribbon is really beautiful and easy to tie. It was added with a glue dot and then a few of the 2021-2023 in color jewels were added.
