Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments

Here’s my second card this week using the Painted Poppies stamp set. It’s part of a product suite which contains 2 stamp sets – Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments. There are also matching dies but I’m only using the stamps for this card.

Blackberry bliss seems to lend itself to sympathy cards; here I’ve added a silver foil mat even though in the photo it looks grey.

I’m a member of the Talented Tutorial Team and each month the 15 of us create a bundle of 15 tutorials. If you spend $50 with me on product, I’ll send you all 15. And if you spend the $50, you’ll also earn a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure and be a third of your way to earning a place at my Sale-a-bration Celebration in April.

Painted Poppies

This week I’m featuring the Painted Poppies 9 piece cling stamp set (151599, $23). It lends itself to creating gorgeous cards.

I heat embossed the poppies in gold on poppy parade (what else?!) and then used gold foil to set them off better.

Painted Poppies is part of a suite which includes another bundle too (153824) and I’ve used the Peaceful Moments stamp set from it for the sentiment. Just simply stamped in more poppy parade on very vanilla and cut out with the stitched shape dies and then popped up with dimensionals. A simple card but rather elegant, I feel.

Dressed to Impress

This is a very different use of the Dressed to Impress stamp set, using it to make some home made DSP.

Best Dressed

I stamped the lipsticks in memento and then used the small splodge stamp – possibly intended for the flowers – to fill in the lipstick color. I used poppy parade, melon mambo, real red, lovely lipstick, mango melody, pumpkin pie and terracotta tile – all lovely bold colors.

Poppy Parade seemed right for such a fun sentiment and I die cut it using the stitched nested labels dies.

Dressed to Impress

Today I’m showcasing my favourite sentiment from the Dressed to Impress stamp set – Life is Short, Buy the shoes. How awesome is that? I paired it with some of the gorgeous Best Dressed DSP.

A very simple but effective card I feel.

Dressed to Impress is also available as a bundle with dies or you can just purchase the entire suite with a single product code (153926). Showing the bundle

Sale-a-bration and what it means

You’ve probably seen by now that we’re in Sale-a-bration, but what does that mean to you? Let me explain.

Sale-a-bration

Sale-a-bration is a very special time of year which lasts for three months. During this time, for every increment of $50 in a single order, you choose a free gift from the Sale-a-bration brochure (some items require a $100 order).

Or you can choose to join up. The deal is even better than usual. Here’s a list of the benefits.

  • $125 worth of product of your choice for $99
  • Free shipping
  • Free Paper Pumpkin kit
  • and just for Sale-a-bration, a mini paper cutter
  • A 48 piece 6″ by 6″ designer paper sampler
  • Your choice of any stamp set (excluding Sale-a-bration and host sets)
  • 20% discount on all your orders

There’s no obligation once you join. You can stop anytime that you want but if you want to keep your discount you need to sell/buy $300 per quarter – which is really $240 due to the discount. The first quarter doesn’t count, so if you join now you have until the end of June to hit your quota.

You also gain access to my team events, training and help from me where necessary..

Or you can host a party and if the sales reach $300, not only do you get to select $36 of free merchandise you also get this cute little set for FREE!
