No Bones About It

Whilst I was away at the crop weekend I made a couple of cards for a few current challenges. If you’re in, or close to, NJ and want to attend the next crop, here are the details of the one that I go to. This challenge is hosted at the TGIF Challenge site. I borrowed the No Bones About It set from my sister and created this card:

Stampin' Up! No Bones About It

Here’s the banner which inspired my card

Definitely an autumnal palette but the No Bones About It set was crying out to be used – especially as I’d had Caro bring it with her from the UK. In the event, I find I have longer to use it since it’s one of the four that she’s left with me and will take home with her at Christmas.

So to the card! I started by stamping the full dinosaur in Cajun craze on very vanilla before stamping his skeleton in soft suede. I couldn’t resist adding a party hat in crushed curry. The sentiment is from another of Caro’s sets, Butterfly Basics, also stamped in crushed curry. I matted the very vanilla with a skinny frame of soft suede and then mounted it on Cajun craze cardstock. I happened to have a Cajun craze liner already cut out of the backgrounds DSP with the envelope liner framelits. It’s the perfect accompaniment.

See you tomorrow,

Liz
