Simply Fabulous

This week I’m using Simply Fabulous, a 24 piece photopolymer set (159133, $18). Plenty of variety here!

I grabbed all of the plant looking stamps and stamped them along the base of a piece of Evening Evergreen. After stamping in versamark, I sprinkled silver embossing powder and then heated. Next I did the same with the sentiment, also from Simply Fabulous.

The Evening Evergreen layer was matted with silver foil and then put on an Evening Evergreen card base. Finally some Basic Rhinestone jewels were added.

I’ll be making this card and two others this morning at my Facebook Live at 11am eastern. If you share my live, I’ll add you to the weekly raffle.

Sun Prints Suite

This week I’m using the gorgeous Sun Prints Suite which consists of a stamp set, dies, DSP and a 3D embossing folder. I’m going to use something from each category but this is just a 3 card taster!

It’s well known that I love designer series paper. I’ve come a long way since the time when I’d get it out, admire it and put it back unused! These days, I cut it up! I also love for the DSP to be showcased since Stampin’ Up! is so good at making marvellous papers.

This card highlights one of my favourite patterns of the Sun Prints DSP. It’s cut to 5 1/4 by 4 inches and placed on a white card base. The sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy. The Natural Print dies were used to cut that out and it was attached to the card with dimensionals.

Crane of Fortune

Here’s my third card using the Crane of Fortune stamp set. Using this distinktive set, I didn’t even get around to using the designer paper. Another week hopefully.

The detail is incredible on this single stamp which was done in Magenta Madness. After that the sentiment was stamped also in Magenta Madness. The layer was matted in more of the same and then added to a Whisper White card base.

The embellishments are some basic rhinestone jewels coloured with the Magenta Madness dark blend.

I made this card along with 2 others at my Facebook Live this morning at 11am EDT. It has also been uploaded to YouTube.

Crane of Fortune

This week I’m using the Crane of Fortune bundle although this card only uses the stamp set. The stamp set is one of the marvellously detailed distinktive styles.

Just look at the detail on the crane which was a single stamp stamped in Momento Tuxedo black. I added a flash of Poppy Parade on the back of his head using the dark blend of Poppy Parade.

The sentiment, also from Crane of Fortune was stamped in Poppy Parade on the white layer. This was then matted on Poppy Parade and attached to a Whisper White card base although in the photo it looks a bit creamy.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT. It will also be uploaded to YouTube.

In the Moment

This week I’m using the stamp set In the Moment (157987, $24). It has three main images which are line art and 3 sentiments.

Really I can’t imagine why it’s taken me so long to use this set, it’s really fun. I got the idea for heat embossing in white and using the white watercolor pencil from a presenter on the last onstage. Sadly I don’t have her name.

I decided to do another white heat embossing, this time on a Soft Saffron layer. After that I mounted it onto white card. The wine glass was coloured using the Cherry Cobbler watercolour pencil and the table with the white. A little Wink of Stella was added to the wine glass.

The sentiment was then stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the layer was attached to the card base.

I’ll be making this card plus two others using In The Moment at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am EDT and will also copy it to my YouTube channel.
