Boughs of Holly DSP

Today I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP with a bit of help from the sentiments from Joyful Flurry and the matching Frosted Flurry dies.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Joyful Flurry - Frosted Flurry Dies

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. A piece of Evening Evergreen was cut to 3 5/8 by 5 1/2 and the DSP was matted so that the green only showed on the left hand side. This was then added to a Real Red card base lining up the right hand edges. This leaves a 5/8 inch left hand border.

This sentiment comes from Joyful Flurry and is stamped in Evening Evergreen onto a scrap of Real Red. After die cutting with the Frosted Flurry dies, it was attached to the card with dimensionals.

I will make this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Boughs of Holly DSP

This week I’m using the Boughs of Holly DSP with a bit of help from the sentiments from Joyful Flurry.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Boughs of Holly DSP - Joyful Flurry

The Boughs of Holly DSP pattern was cut to 2 by 3 inches and then matted with Evening Evergreen. I love this green anyway, but I think it’s especially good for Christmas cards. What do you think?

This sentiment comes from Joyful Flurry and is stamped directly onto the white card base in Evening Evergreen.

I think too much of this pattern would be overwhelming and the advantage of this smaller piece is that you can make 24 of these cards from a single sheet. They are fast to make too.

I don’t think anyone is in a panic regarding Christmas cards yet, but you might keep this at the back of your mind if you do start panicking!

I will make this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

See you Friday,

Beauty of Friendship

Here’s the third card using the Beauty of Friendship set from last week. Sorry for the delay but yesterday I was totally out of energy.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship - Frosted Flurry Dies

The tree trunks were stamped in Sahara Sand at different heights to give the impression of a copse. Then the distinktive stamp was stamped in Crushed Curry over the trunks which gave all the detail and the gorgeous colors that I’m anticipating we’ll see soon.

The white layer was then matted in Sahara Sand and mounted onto a Crushed Curry card base.  Next the sentiment, also from Beauty of Friendship, was stamped in Sahara Sand onto Crushed Curry. After die cutting it with the Frosted Flurry dies, it was attached with dimensionals. Finally a few champagne rhinestone basic jewels were added.

I made this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live yesterday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.

Beauty of Friendship

This week I’m using the Beauty of Friendship set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Beauty of Friendship - Frosted Flurry Dies

The tree trunk was stamped Early Espresso at different heights. The foliage is a distinktive stamp, meaning that you get a lot of extra detail. This was stamped in Shaded Spruce – just one stamp and you get all this detail, it’s brilliant. The white layer was added to a Shaded Spruce card base.

Finally the sentiment, also from Beauty of Friendship, was stamped in Early Espresso on Shaded Spruce. It was die cut using the Frosted Flurry dies and attached with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with 2 others using this set at my Facebook Live on Sunday at 11am eastern. If you place a $25 order with me, I’ll send you the cut cardstock for free. Also if you share my live, I’ll put you in the raffle for a free embellishment plus a card.
