Dahlia Days

This week’s product of the week is the stamp set Dahlia Days. It doesn’t appear to be in the upcoming catalog, so if you want it, grab it now.

I decided to pair the stamp set with other things that are leaving on May 2nd. So the card is made using Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight and Just Jade along with white. This card shows some of the small stamps from the Dahlia Days set each in it’s own color.

The sentiment is also from the set and is stamped in Just Jade and die cut using the Layering Circle dies. It’s mounted on a Just Jade scallop from the same dies and attached with dimensionals.

I’ll be making this card, along with two others using the set, on Sunday at my Facebook Live at 11am EDT. Come and join me, place an order of $25 to get what you need to make them for free. Also shared the live and be entered into a raffle drawn next week.

Crane of Fortune

Here’s my third card using the Crane of Fortune stamp set. Using this distinktive set, I didn’t even get around to using the designer paper. Another week hopefully.

The detail is incredible on this single stamp which was done in Magenta Madness. After that the sentiment was stamped also in Magenta Madness. The layer was matted in more of the same and then added to a Whisper White card base.

The embellishments are some basic rhinestone jewels coloured with the Magenta Madness dark blend.

I made this card along with 2 others at my Facebook Live this morning at 11am EDT. It has also been uploaded to YouTube.

Crane of Fortune Bundle

This week I’m using the Crane of Fortune bundle. It consists of the Crane of Fortune stamp set and the Good Fortune dies (157663, $46.75).

The sentiment from the Crane of Fortune set, was stamped in Magenta Madness on a Whisper White layer. Next the die cut was made right on that same layer. The layer was then attached to a Magenta Madness card base. Once all the pieces had been poked out of the die cut it was put back where it came from.

Finally, using the Magenta Madness dark blend, some basic rhinestones were colored and added to the card.

I really like the way the card base shows through the die cut. Obviously that was the point but it looks really elegant to me.
