Simply Marbleous DSP

This paper is available to you for FREE when you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration. Here I’m using the more marbled side of the Highland Heather DSP.

I cut the piece of Simply Marbleous to 4 by 4 1/4 inches. Next it was matted  with a 4 1/4 inch square of Gorgeous Grape and added to a Highland Heather card base.

The sentiment from Friendly Hello was still on my desk from last week so I stamped it in Gorgeous Grape. It was then die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and added to the card using dimensionals.

Finally, I added some Pastel Pearls to the card.

I’ll be making this quick clean and simple card along with 2 others also using the Simply Marbleous DSP at my Facebook Live on Sunday. It’s at 11am EST so I hope to see you there.

Friendly Hello

This week I’m using the Friendly Hello stamp set and the Friendly Hello DSP both of which are Sale-a-bration items. In fact they are bundled together with both products being free for an order of $100. And they are a lot of fun to use. However today I’m only using the stamp set.

This card was created by heat embossing in white on a piece of Highland Heather. I fully intended to use a white watercolor pencil but it wasn’t necessary. The flowers were stamped in versamark in the middle of the layer and then filled in on either end. Next they were heat embossed with white embossing powder.

After that I heat embossed the sentiment and then glued the layer onto  a Whisper White mat. Finally I layered this onto a Highland Heather card base. And that’s another easy clean and simple card. I’m really enjoying this free bundle – and I haven’t used it all yet!

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others later today at 11am EST on my Live. I hope that you can join me then – or catch the replay on either Facebook or YouTube.

Here I let the Friendly Hello DSP drive my color choices. I love this pattern and it’s Petal Pink so that’s the ink I used. First the sentiment was stamped onto a Whisper White card base and then a strip of the DSP was added. The flowers were stamped onto Whisper White and matted with Petal Pink and added with dimensionals. Finally some Elegant Faceted gems were added.

Another easy and fast simple card. I’m really enjoying this free duet.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others on Sunday at 11am EST on my Live. I hope that you can join me then – or catch the replay on either Facebook or YouTube.

Here I matted a piece of the Friendly Hello DSP with a Granny Apple Green. Next the sentiment was stamped in more Granny Apple Green on a thick Whisper White card base.  Finally the matted layer was glued to the card base.

I did mention that this was fast didn’t I? Easy, quick and effective. And with a 3 by 3 inch square of DSP you can make loads of them if you need to.

I’ll be making this card along with 2 others on Sunday at 11am EST on my Live. I hope that you can join me then – or catch the replay on either Facebook or YouTube.

Daffodil Daydream

The product of the week is the Daffodil Daydream bundle (157795). At $54.75 it reaches the threshold to claim a free Sale-a-bration item. I recommend you select the Daffodil Afternoon DSP which coordinates with the bundle. Today I’m just using the Daffodil Dies.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - My Elegant Cards - Daffodil Daydream bundle - Daffodil Dies - Sweet Ice Cream

I started by die cutting 5 daffodil trumpets out of white card stock. This was made easier by there being 2 identical dies in the Daffodil Dies set.

Next I cut off the rounded bottom off each trumpet to make them into cup cakes. Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write markers were used to create the frosting. Wink of Stella was applied to give the frosting shine and then lines were added onto the cupcake liners.

I wanted a big Happy Birthday greeting and found what I was looking for in the Sweet Ice Cream set. This was stamped onto a white layer in Polished Pink and mounted onto a same coloured card base.  I added dimensionals to the back of the cupcakes and arranged them on the card.

Finally I added some of the 2021-2023 in color jewels as sprinkles on top of the cupcakes.

The current Sale-a-bration is running now and ends on 28th February. Since the available selection can get a little sparse towards the end of the time period, early ordering is recommended.

I made this card plus 2 others at my Live this morning. Catch the replay or find it on YouTube.
