Wildflower Fields and the in colors

I was rather happy with how my card turned out for the design team last week and since I cut the DSP at an angle for that card, I had another similar piece. I decided to colour this using the retiring in colors. I was going to colour just a few of the dots but in the end, colouring them all worked better. I did around an equal number of each colour but then coloured all the remainder in mossy meadow.

So after colouring the dots in mossy meadow, hello honey, blackberry bliss, lost lagoon and tangelo twist, I tried all of the card bases to see what would work. In the end, I decided on whisper white and mounted the DSP onto a card base of thick whisper white. Then I added a sentiment in mossy meadow (from my current favourite, Watercolor Wishes) mostly because I have enamel dots in mossy meadow and I’m trying to use up retiring embellishments. So I added the mossy meadow enamel dots in a couple of sizes.

I’d like to give a warm welcome to my new blog follower. I’m so happy that you’ve elected to receive my posts in your inbox. Just let me know if you have any questions – the same goes for all my readers.

See you tomorrow – a little later since it’s a Thursday and it’s a new challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and I need to coordinate with their posting.
