Warmth and Cheer DSP stack

I completely overlooked the Warmth and Cheer DSP stack in the Holiday catalog and I can’t imagine why. I kept seeing cards online with gorgeous papers and they kept being this stack. When Julia was ordering recently, she planned to get this one and when I commented that it was on my list for my next order, she just upped the quantity to two and got me one. I’m so grateful! At the crop this weekend, I had a lot of fun playing with this stack and the stitched shapes framelits dies which coordinate beautifully with the stitching on this paper stack.

Paper stacks are 6 inches square and if you cut your DSP for the card at 3 3/4 by 5 inches you get enough leftover to cover the envelope flap for perfect coordination. So that’s what I did and I matted it with a piece of garden green that’s just an 1/8 inch larger. This was then glued to a crumb cake card base. For my sentiment I used the Merriest Wishes set and embossed it in black. I then cut it out with the awesome stitched shapes framelits dies. I’m so glad that these came out early – they are addictive though, I warn you! I’m using them on pretty much every card that I can! I’ve read this morning that the stocks of the dies are getting low, so if you want to snap them up before they go on back order, you need to get them right away. Anyway, I popped up the sentiment with dimensionals and finished off the project by sticking the remaining DSP to the envelope flap and snipping around the edge of the flap.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.
