Tasty Trucks Congratulations

I mentioned recently that I needed a number of congratulations cards. Here’s one that I made using the Sale-a-bration freebie, Tasty Trucks. It’s really fun using the watercolor pencils and a blender pen and a good way to relax.

I stamped the truck image in archival basic black and then added the sentiment along the side of the truck in pacific point. Next I laid down a little colour with the pencils and used the blender pen to spread it. I’ve used pacific point, old olive, basic black and daffodil delight here. Once I had finished the colouring, I decided to add the flags onto the back for a more festive look but didn’t wait long enough for the basic black to dry and my yellow flags looked extremely grubby! So I stamped again on a scrap of daffodil delight and snipped the flags out and glued them over the top. Nobody knows that there are some grubby flags hiding under there. Oh, wait!

Next I added a slim black mat and glued that to a pacific point base. I think this is a fun congratulations card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Please use the hostess code to get free handmade cards; the current one is PNF6CKRH (if your order is over $150, don’t use the code, you get the rewards, but you still get the free cards from me). And don’t forget that during Sale-a-bration, for every $50 you spend (before taxes and shipping) you get to select a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. Don’t have paper copies of the catalogs? Drop me an email and I’ll put one in the mail.

See you tomorrow,
