Paper Pumpkin July 2017 Alternate

After what feels like forever, I’m finally back to making a Paper Pumpkin July 2017 Alternate. Last night my team and I got together and put our paper pumpkins together and had a great time. This morning, I decided that it was time that I played with the Positively Picturesque kit a little more. Next month, I hope to make the alternate before the team get together so that they can make an alternate if they like.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Paper Pumpkin July 2017 Alternate - Positively Picturesque

This clean and simple card comes together very quickly – I did a little watercolor wash in so saffron on a piece of watercolor paper ( 2 7/8 inch square) and then used the heating tool on the first setting to dry it. Next I stamped the tulips in lemon lime twist and berry burst and added the sentiment also from the set in berry burst. I tried to use a different color for my mat than lemon lime twist, but it looked the best (or I’m addicted to it, not sure!) – I used a piece 3 inches square to just give a small border. Then I mounted this on a thick very vanilla card base – I love the thick card stock, it’s so much better for card bases.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Please use the Stampin’ Rewards code to get five FREE handmade cards; the current Stampin’ Rewards code is ZDSGJ9U3 (if your order is over $150, don’t use the code, you get the rewards, but you still get the free cards). In addition, if you spend $50 this month, I’ll send you the metallic sequin assortment. Click here to go to my online shop or here to join my team. To sign up for Paper Pumpkin, click here. Apologies for the lack of posting yesterday; I had a busy morning and totally wore myself out and spent all afternoon asleep. I then had friends coming over to celebrate my graduation from radiation therapy and my best friend also brought the news that I am lucky enough to have the necessary mutation which means that I can take pills to handle the lung cancer instead of having chemotherapy. Needless to say, the evening turned into an enormous celebration of joy and gratitude.

Don’t forget that we have bonus days running this month – you get a coupon for every $50 you spend. Don’t give up a 10% discount!

Also, remember the amazing joining offer of $52 extra supplies plus a free Christmas stamp set worth $20 making that Starter Kit a steal at $99 plus tax for $197 worth of product and free shipping.

May 2017 Paper Pumpkin

My May 2017 Paper Pumpkin came yesterday morning and boy was I wrong! I know that HOLE and ROUND were two of the clues, but I thought that the third was scramble and I didn’t realise that there were more clues. One of which was that seeing what’s inside the kit was possibly going to make us want to grab a cup of coffee, I was definitely off with my golf guess. It’s doughnuts! Here’s the official video:

Cute, but I don’t need 9 doughnut cards so I definitely will be working on alternatives…
