Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies

As you know my first order from the catalog arrived about 10 days ago and I’m having loads of fun working my way through the different things. Today I’m playing with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies which have so much potential. I decided to do a simple card showcasing them even though it’s not Valentine’s Day, but you could use this card for an anniversary or just because.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies

I cut out the image and the word, which are both from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies set, in real red and used the 2 way glue pen to adhere them to the panel of whisper white. I put that panel onto a mat of real red giving a skinny frame before putting that onto my favourite thick whisper white card stock. Don’t forget to score the thick whisper white before folding – it gives a much cleaner fold.

The card is sitting on the envelope – the photo doesn’t really show the pattern, it only shows that it’s bumpy! I embossed the envelope flap with the happy hearts embossing folder which I thought matched really well with the die cut heart. I love that the die cut is actually just a single cut – it looks as if I’ve layered 3 hearts in a very artistic way, but actually, Stampin’ Up! did all that artistry for me, and it’s a single piece! Isn’t it brilliant?

Have a great Tuesday – I have a friend coming for dinner as she does a couple of times a month after volunteering at the food pantry. We help by cooking dinner. I think I promised a strawberry shortcake to both her and my brother. I guess that means some carding time whilst it’s cooking!

See you tomorrow,

Liz
