Starlight Thinlits Dies

At the weekend I was playing with the Star of Light stamp set for the first time and that meant that I pulled out the matching Starlight Thinlits dies to see what was in there. I then ran all of the pieces through the big shot, just to see what we had. So I didn’t plan the island indigo for this card, it just happened to be a scrap next to my big shot. But what a beautiful star.

At first glance, it’s hard to see exactly how this comes together – it’s two pieces. There are a silver foil star which fits perfectly behind the delicate cut out island indigo star, I used the 2 way glue pen to attach it. The sentiment comes from the Star of Light set and it’s heat embossed in silver. Once I had that completed, I cut out tiny pieces of dimensionals that would fit in the points of the star and popped it up.

There are quite a few other beautiful shapes in the Starlight Thinlits Dies set, I’ll be playing with them soon and then sharing with you.

I’m busily preparing for my Christmas Buffet, card making style on Sunday – check out the details on my classes page.

Have a great Tuesday, see you tomorrow,

Liz
