More Merry Mice

Here’s another card I made this time using the trio of mice in the Merry Mice set.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Merry Mice

I stamped the image on watercolor paper in archival basic black ink and then used a handful of the Stampin’ Write markers to colour it in – real red, dapper denim, daffodil delight and emerald envy. I also used an aquapainter to get a pale amount of sahara sand on the faces and feet. Just go to town and colour as you like, it’s relaxing and fun. Once I completed my colouring, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in more black onto a real red base and then added my piece of watercolour. I decided not to crop the piece but to leave a fair amount of unused watercolour paper to give the impression that these mice are really marching along. It’s a really cute set and currently on sale this month at 25% off – the clear set is only $12.75, how can you resist?

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Please use the hostess code to get free product; the current one is GWTDK7RM (if your order is over $150, don’t use the code, you get the rewards, but you still get the free gift from me).
