Detailed Santa Thinlits Dies

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Detailed Santa Thinlits Dies; it’s a super easy and very effective card.

Liz Bailey Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - Detailed Santa Thinlits Dies - Star of Light

I used a piece of whisper white already cut for a card layer so that there was an 1/8 inch border all the way around of the real red card base. First I stamped the sentiment, just in case. I used one from Star of Light and stamped in real red. Once that hurdle was successfully negotiated, I used the Detailed Santa thinlits dies to cut out both the santa image (make sure you’re careful about placement so that the white border is even) and the lines and dot underlining the sentiment. After quickly removing the white pieces, I used the trick I saw recently to add tombow glue to the back of the whisper white. I used a silicone craft sheet and a sponge dauber (which is designated just for glue) to get some glue over the entire back but not TOO much glue. This way, as long as you don’t let your card stock move, you get no glue on the front and no oozing.
