December Paper Pumpkin

This is a record – I received this month’s Paper Pumpkin, One Great Year, on Friday when I got home from work. Although I had plenty of things that I could be doing on Saturday, I put together the kit. This month it’s a calendar ready for next year. I really love the colours that have been used for this kit and in fact, the whole project which I plan to place on my desk at work.

There are four styles of pages included – the other three are demonstrated by the next three months

and the different styles come in three different colours

and finally

I followed the instructions pretty much to the letter – I swapped the colour of the background on a couple of months (obviously a total irrelevance) but I left off the twine which was supposed to be glued to the back of some of the calendar pieces and and artistically spread around. I find that it tends to look a mess rather than artistic so I don’t do that!

I didn’t add any supplies to the kit, the adhesive dots and dimensionals were all included. So there’s not much to put in the supply list other than prepaid Paper Pumpkin kits. If you go for the 6 month option, you save a dollar per kit, double if you select the year. One of the big benefits of being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber (apart from the fun of getting a mystery kit delivered each month) is that you can buy any of the past kits and refills which are being offered.

See you tomorrow,

Liz
